This was one of the best experiences of mine in NYC. It was very emotional & took a lot out of me, but made me feel that my whole trip was worth it, just to see this. Great job, and highly recommend it to everyone!!

Everyone should see this

Gary was not there on our tour day. However, our two guides were personable and knowledgeable. It was a learning experience and a very intense emotional experience. The photographs, stories, and items recovered made 9/11 real for us once again. The room may be small but what is contained in that small room is amazing.

We enjoyed the many stories

Carol and I visited the ground Zero museum on Aug 21, 2008. As we began the tour of the pictures, I was fascinated by the stories. After I finally looked up (came up for air) we were the only ones left in the room from a tour of about 12. Thank you for your efforts in preserving the many stories.

Excellent and Presented with Sensitivity

This excellent museum was a highlight of our visit to the city, tastefully and thoughtfully presented, and worthwhile to increase one's understanding of the incident aftermath. While many of us saw the tragedy happen in real time, the clean-up was only seen in bits and pieces due to the lengthy time involved. Gary helped bring closure to all that. One bit of confusion... I could not figure out why you call it a "workshop." Please note that after a lifetime of developing, producing, and presenting workshops, the visit to your facility was just not a workshop. I almost skipped the visit due to the fact that I did not want to be in a traditional "workshop" setting. Also note that my comment should not in any way be construed as a negative. This is a worthwhile stop for anyone. Thanks.

The museum is a small intimate space which allows for safety in emotional expression. The photographer introduced his work personally. The photographs focused on the hopeful and postive aspects that came frorm such a tragedy. Spiritual content. Feels like walking on holy ground. No gorey photos here. Each person is given headphones to explore the photographs at one's own pace--this was really helpful with the kids.

general feedback

The whole time spend was enjoyable, the guide was knowledgable and pleasant. The way the display is set up is excellant, and the photographs are fantastic. The only negative was the guide mentioned' I spoke to Gary Suson a few minutes ago and he is likely to call in and spend some time with you today' obviously Gary did not appear, i think this is a common comment and one which came across as a 'tourist pleasing ploy'. If it was likley I apologise however I doubt it very much, therefore why put it into the guides commentary. More photos signed by Gary Suson would have been preferred, a signed book and i would have made a purchase but there were non. Roger Groves

Very Informative, great education for our family

We finally were able to bring our 17 and 18 year old with us to New York. We brought them to the ground zero museum workshop to allow them to see first hand the impact of 911. As I expected, it was a very moving experience for all of us. We thought that the photographer Gary Suson did an extraoridinary job. God Bless Him!!911 changed our lives and has changed the future of our children. We know that our children will never forget our two plus hours at the museum and meeting Gary Suson themselves. It made a tremendous impact on them. It was a great education and gives them a little more strength to express their own views on the impact of 911. The woman that led our guide (I'm sorry, I forget her name) was very imformative, kind and sensitive. She could not have done a better job taking care of our needs that day. Thank you!
