Very touching tribute to 9/11. It really hits home to see the pictures and the artificats and the stories behind them. Recommend going and seeing it and remembering those that gave their lives to help others.

Something everybody needs to experience

This was my second time visiting this place and it is a very moving, powerful experience. It's really a memorial. Gary Suson is a wonderful human being and had a superb idea to create this museum. Having it in this one room that has 2 small sofas in the room and some chairs where you can just sit and take it all in, in addition to the audio and personal tour is just a perfect way to experience this. I think everybody in the universe needs to go at least once. My second time was just as moving as my first time. It is really not to be missed on a trip to NYC.

Emotional but very informative

We (two adults and two children age 10 & 12) booked from the UK. I must admit that when we first walked in, the immediate impression was that it wouldn't take long to go round and after 20 minutes the children would be bored. How wrong we were!!. After nearly two hours we all finally agreed that we had gained all of the information. The staff were also very informative and the music set the scene We later chatted about our experience and would highly recommend it to all visiting ground zero (either before or after) .

Provided to nephew and his girlfriend to go see. They really liked the exhibit, how it was set up and how moving it was. I have already heard them recommend to friends that will be visiting. I was not able to go as I had to work.

Information never heard or seen

As you walk in the room you think to your self "How can I spend two Hours here"? I could have stayed for 5 hours. The way the room is designed is very interactive and will let a person learn as much as her or she wants. The stories are very touching and the pictures tell their own story. There is not much at ground Zero to see. If you are going to New York to see "the site" you will not see to much. The best way to learn and understand more of what happened on that day and what has happened after that day is to go to the Ground Zero Meseum. We enjoyed our time there and can not wait to see the meseum grow over the years. Great job!!!!!!

We were blessed with the experience of the Ground Zero Museum. We liken it to the Holocaust....it's part of this country's fabric and we must never forget. We the help of this museum we will not forget how threatened our country truly is and what over 3000 people gave their lives for. Thank you for this impactful exhibit and for all you are doing to remind each one of us what it's really all about.....our country's FREEDOM! Charleston, SC

Absolutely Intensely Moving!

I feel so priviledged and blessed for having been permitted to view the 9-11 pictoral human-ness of that horrible day, and to hear the obviously heartfelt dialogue of the official NYFD photographer, Gary Suson, as he literally waded through one gut-wrenching experience after another. The personal experiences of Gary is portrayed through his compassionate and tasteful photography. No one can leave the same as he entered the museum. The regret is the exhibit is only there in NYC and not more accessible to the masses around the nation. Thank you so much for this always to be remembered experience. We attended as mother, adult daughter, and 14 yr old grandson. The exhibit was captivating to each one equally.

A Moving 9/11 Tribute.

Tour Length : 1-1:30hrs approx. Tour Location : You stay in the building (You DO NOT visit Ground Zero on the tour) Restroom : Yes Having read recent customer reviews, my sister and I decided to book this tour to see the up-close-and-personal photos/artefacts following the atrocities on 9/11. What followed was emotional. After being greeted by the guide (usually a person who was there that day) you are invited to watch an interview with Gary Marlon Suson (the OFFICIAL photographer at Ground Zero) and then a montage of photos dubbed over with actual phone/radio chatter from that fateful day. After this you are given your own personal electronic 'story-teller'. All around the room are photos taken by Gary and arfefacts from Ground Zero, each has a number, you tap the number in your 'story-teller' and a clip of Gary himself telling you the inside story of that piece. You are actually allowed to hold certain pieces frowm Ground Zero, this allows you to have some sort of connection. This is a very well put together workshop, and any money made from sales of books/posters/cards will be shared among the victim's families. There is no rush to get round and listen to every story of every picture/artefact as you can easily get round before the next tour starts. Our tour guide was Lou (who volunteers at the church across the street from Ground Zero, St Paul's I think - another must see) and Gary Suson was also there to give an introduction. All-in-all this is a must see workshop if you want to see photos that have never been seen in public.

It was an incredible experience that put so many faces to a horrible tragedy. We all felt it be very powerful and spiritual and we appreciated the huge talent of Mr. Susan. (Who we got to meet and found him to be very gracious.) Our tour guide, Lauren was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. I will encourage anyone coming to NYC to go this museum.
