I've been to NYC 4 times and have seen a lot, but this cannot be compared with anything. It is really a must see! I can't describe how impressive it is. When I'm back in NY I'll go again!

THIS WAS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY. IT IS VERY MOVING TO SEE THE PERSONAL PICTURES DISPLAYED, AND DEFINITELY MADE US CRY FOR THOSE WHO ARE GONE AND THOSE WHO LOST LOVED ONES. WE WOULD HAVE MISSED A SMALL TREASURE IN NYC IF WE HAD NOT TAKEN TIME TO VISIT THIS MUSEUM.

This was a unique experience, right from finding the museum, which is on the second floor of a pretty nondescript building. Directions were clear, but the location still wasn't obvious. That only added to the character, actually. The museum itself is only one large room that seemed almost full with the 15 people that were on our tour, but it held an incredible amount of material, including many artifacts and amazing photographs. The fact that some of the artifacts were everyday items like a napkin from the restaurant made it all feel very real. The tone was set by two short videos and some comments from a very compassionate tour guide, and we appreciated having so much time to explore on our own. The audio commentary by Gary Suson which went along with the individual exhibits added much to the experience and made it all very personal. Having a chance to meet him during our tour was an added bonus. The Gound Zero Museum is very tasteful and very moving. Very well done, and highly recommended.

Went with my fiance who served in Iraq after 9/11 and his army buddy from VA. It was definitly worth seeing and we're going back in just 2 months! It was great to have the opportunity to meet Gary, the photographer who shot all the photos!

I went with a girlfriend to the museum and was very impressed with the respect and care taken to display items and photographs. The audio descriptions were thorough and fascinating, and I was moved on more than one occasion with the description of certain items and the "behind the scenes" stories in relation to each photograph taken. This little one-room museum was very thought provoking, tastefully put together, and left me with a lasting memory that was heartbreaking, but not horrific. Very well done.

You get to see what happens beyond the 6pm newscast. I expected more for the amount of time that was spent at ground zero. However, this museum portrays the amount of respect that everyone there gave to those who lost there lives. It showed the human spirit and the heros that you never heard about.

It was interesting to listen to the stories of how the artifacts were collected and how the photographer was able to get the photo shots that he did on that historic day. However, we left feeling like we were in a photo gallery viewing someone's work, and that work just happened to be of 9/11, and the photographer was lucky enough to also have items on display from the site. It seemed to be more about the photographer and how good he was at getting the tough photos. We were hoping to hear more about the survivors, families and their stories etc. It's nice that we were able to go, but if someone is on a budget and has several things that they want to do, we feel that this is NOT a "must" to do, but it's a "nice" to do. After viewing, we also felt that the admission charge, for what it was, was a bit high. Also, if you have limited time in NYC, the gallery is not located near the site.

I found the museum very comforting, and the memorabilia and stories illuminating and inspiring. As more and more of the memorabilia is removed from Trinity Church and St. Pauls, this and the WTC Visitor's Centre are all that is left. I was glad I came. Thank you.
