This was a wonderful place visit. It really opened your eyes to the tragedy of 9/11! I loved that every picture had a story and that it was personally told to you by the person who took the pictures.

This was an AMAZING tour. Very emotional due to its up close and personal touches. I left feeling overwelmed in such a nice way. Thanks so much for all the time and effort this took to put together. The guides were knowledgable and friendly. LOVED IT!! although the people we purchased the tickets through were not the best. but the folks at the museum made up tri- fold for the rudeness. Thanks!!! ;)

As a survivor I was interested in seeing this museum and many of the original images captured. Although it was emotional, my family and I really enjoyed seeing the very different perspective offered at the museum. The remnants and images were tastefully presented in a very intimate and thoughtful way. Every American should see this to learn more about this tragic event from a different viewpoint.

We were so absolutely moved by the artifacts and photographs at the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour. We are going to recommend everyone we know traveling to New York City to check this out. Gary Marlon Suson was there at the museum/studio and besides being extremely kind, he was informative about everything to do with 9/11 and the clean-up afterward. It is amazing to think of the things he saw, heard, smelled, and touched at the WTC site. Definitely go! You will NOT regret it and the price of admission is well worth everything you get to experience. It was almost as if Gary took us back there to the WTC site for 2 hours during our tour.

Memorable - God's touch was known

My family enjoyed listening to the stories about the wonderful pictures displayed. It was a privilege to meet the photographer as well and chatting with him was insightful. I was touched by the "cross photo" and the "Genesis 11 chapter from the Bible." It reaffirmed God's presence. He is here to comfort and help us walk through the difficult times. I forgot to explain to my family that this wasn't going to be a regular museum, but a small room of the photographer's collection. It was cozy. I think that added to the remembrance of all the people that perished and all the people that volunteered. When we got back home, I was pleased that my children shared with others about their experience at the museum and the stories they heard. We also went to Disney World, D.C. and Philadelphia, so having them share about the "Ground Zero Museum" as a highlight of our trip was a blessing. My children are 23, 21, 15 & 12. Thank you for sharing the photos and helping others to remember.

Our 3 children range in ages 10-17. I highly recommend this museum. Gary Suson has used his God-given gift to create a atmospshere that displays love and respect. We are such a visual generation and this allows you to absorb it at your own pace. Although my youngest does not remember where she was when "the world stopped turning", she will never forget this museum.

How the cruelty of humanity can be trumped by love

The workshop is amazing and I have recommended it to everyone that I have spoken to. It was incredible to see such intimate photos of this horrific time in our history. To think that fellow humans could have orchestrated this whole terrorist act is mind-numbing. Seeing the photos and listening to the audio reminded me of when I woke up to the radio while in New Zealand, hearing that this tragedy had occurred and feeling so helpless and grief-stricken for the victims - their final minutes, and the lifetime of grief of those that were left behind. However, I felt like I gained a greater perspective of the lives that were touched so chillingly during that time. Attending this workshop has made me so grateful to be alive, but so humbled that so many people lost their lives, or have the memories of such terror imprinted into their souls. Thank you so much for having this resource - I can see how people would gain great solace and closure from such a place.

My mom, sister and I went to the Ground Zero Museum Workshop and were so glad we did. The photos were beautiful, moving and thought-provoking. We learned so much about that day that changed the lives of all Americans. I encourage everyone to go.

The tour was extremely well put together and very thoughtful in considering the victims and the families of the victims. There were parts of it that made me tearful and the exhibits displayed are appropriate and amazing. The photographer was there when we were on the tour and was available for questions about his experience at Ground Zero. We walked down to Ground Zero after the tour and then finished off at Battery Park where the globe that used to be in the WTC Plaza is now displayed.

Emotional, good but too expensive
Tue, Nov 10  11:00 AM Quadrupel Male 30-39 International Tourist(s) Other
One small room creates a special atmosphere but disappointes according to the price. There are roundabout 100 pictures and items you can get an audio commentary for. I think the main goal of the GZMW is not to present a lot of information or pictures, but to create an emotional basis. Including admistration fee nearly 30 $ is too expensive for this visit.
