A moving tribute to so many lost
Sat, Oct 27, 07   11:30 AM JuliaRoberts Female 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
You cannot visit New York without taking the time to see this absolutely moving tribute to the 9/11 victims. Its brilliant photography that serves its purpose (which is to help the many families and those around the globe never forget the atrocity that was carried out that day). It really brings home just how many people this vile act affected. Gary Suson is a brave and humble man. I would highly recommend it.

Best Museum I've ever been to

It may be small in size but it does not lack in emotion. The self-guided tour with Gary's narrative is excellent. It really puts the pictures in the museum into context for the viewer. At first sight, I was not impressed as I walked into a room the size of my living room with pictures on the wall. But every picture I walked up to and every narrative I listened to, it completely changed my mind. I would highly recommend this museum to anybody who wants to know more about 9/11 and the biggest act of terrorism on U.S. soil. There was so much about this tragedy and how the FDNY and the NYPD reacted that I didn't even know about until I went through this museum workshop. This is a must-see for anyone in the military also.

A Must See..

The mystery surrounding the location of the musuem made me suspicious...like we had been ripped off. From the guy who greeted us at the door till the end of our "tour" was an unforgetable experience. The initimate setting was the perfect showcase for such ...personal, emotion scratching photographs.

I visited the museum on a recent trip to NY, with my friends and family. I found this link online, and we all decided to purchase tickets. It was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a moving experience, and I learned a lot about that fateful day. We lucked out and the photographer himself, Gary Suson, was there, and what a treat! He was great. He allowed pictures, signed books, and shared his personal story. It was awesome, and something I will never forget. I recommend this to everyone!!

This little gem of a museum is definitely a work of "heart" as well as art. The pictures were great & seeing the artefacts brought back memories of that fateful day. "We will not forget" - thank you to Gary for creating this memorial.

It was very interesting and touching

What the museum lacks in size it gains in size - in other words, its one room has enough memorabilia to fill a larger area. The photos are extremely touching and the electronic tour told us everything we ever wondered about that day. It was a highly emotional experience and one that won't soon be forgotten.

A moving tribute to events after 9/11

This exhibition provided the story behind the many images we've seen in the papers since 9/11. It made me realise that so much good and compassion has come out of a horrific and senseless act.

The tour was extremely well put together and very thoughtful in considering the victims and the families of the victims. There were parts of it that made me tearful and the exhibits displayed are appropriate and amazing. The photographer was there when we were on the tour and was available for questions about his experience at Ground Zero. We walked down to Ground Zero after the tour and then finished off at Battery Park where the globe that used to be in the WTC Plaza is now displayed.
