| I visited this small museum with my husband and parents. I was a little nervous before entering as I didn't really want to be reminded of the pictures of those planes going into the twin towers but I needn't have woried; Gary Suson has created a museum which touches your heart by focusing on the rebuilding and recovery following that dreadful day.
You were able to spend as much or little time as you liked, wondering around listening through your individual headset to the moving stories behind each beautifully taken photograph depicting the personal stories of many of those involved.
When we left we didn't speak for a while as it took time to digest all the factual and poignant information but later we spoke at length about the effects of this disaster had on the extraordinary people effected, especially the loved ones left behind and the courageous workers who helped during that recovery period. It gave insite into what it was really like to be there compared to what we had seen in the media.
Tasteful and touching it reminds us that we should never forget not just those that were lost but the people that are left behind and effected everyday by the events of 9/11. |

| This museum is very tastefully done on such an emotional subject. It is well worth the entrance fee and it is historical and factual. We truly enjoyed the presentation and the thoughtfulness of the presenter as well. It was a very moving and wonderful experience for our family. Thank you!! |

| It's remarkable what has been done with a one-room museum. Thoroughly recommended, but expect to shed a tear or two. |

| I would recommend this tour, and already have done since I have been home. A lovely little personal museum, which left me feeling very emotionally at the end. Superb pictures and very personal stories to each. Gary himself attended the tour, though we still had a guide, and he was a truly lovely man. I do not live in the USA, but feel this an important museum for any to visit, so that we do not forgot the many great people who helped during this sad time. ( and dogs!) +++ |

| This museum is thoughfully and respectfully presented in a way that helps us to both understand the horror of the event and to remember the real lives that were lost. We were very, very glad to have gone - and would recommend that you do this before going to ground zero instead of the other way around. It gives a real face to what truly happened there. Thank you to all of those who have created it. |

| During my visit I did a lot of the touristy things like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockafeller Center, etc. But my time at the Ground Zero Museum is the one that touched my soul. I'm from MN and I watched this tradegy unfold from a far. The following week I went to NJ to help establish an operations hub for our NYC displaced employees. I listened to their stories, cried with them for their missing friends and families and tried to help them in any way I could. Spending time in this museum helped me understand who the real heros are and gave me an appreciation for the sacrifice they made to bring loved ones home to rest and help friends and family find the closure they need.
The museum is tastefully done, exteremely respectful of those that lost their lives during and after this tradegy. I'm thankful the facilities are small and the number of visitors are limited for each viewing. I cried a lot, laughed a little but mostly thanked God for the people that survived and those that give so deeply of themselves to help find missing friends and family of people they may never meet. This tribute gives them the honor and respect they deserve.
An abosulte must see! |

| This was an excellent museum, very well organized. So much enjoyed being able to go at my own pace, by using the earphones. Needed a little more than 2 hours to hear all 100 stories. I only got through #77. Would recommend this to anyone! |

| I was totally impressed with the quality and quantity of the information packed into this hands-on museum. My time was not only well spent, but the impression made will never leave me.
The photos alone would have been great, but the additional commentary, and ability to reach out and actually touch some of the artifacts made this experience fantastic...even with the tears it brought to my eyes, and the lump to my throat . . . the images have been etched into my mind. |
