Very small but good

This museum was very informative. Even though it's such a small room, it's perfect because you get to see everything up close with nobody in your way. You can even take pictures of actual articles and memorabilias. That's something that I really enjoyed and took advantage of. Being in that room, made me realize how lucky I am to be alive and made me more respectful towards those pictures, artifacts and that day. Even being in that room with a small group of people, you can feel the sorrow and the pain from the tragedy that had happened. Overall, I really enjoyed this museum. You don't have to wait in a long line, you can make reservations so it's better that way. I highly reccommend this museum to anyone.

What a good reminder for all of us. Very thought through museum. Not overly emotional or heavy but enough so that we don't forget everything that happened. Also very informative and very interesting to see so many items that were really there. Makes it really hit home. A few times I was choked up but it did not bring me down for the rest of the day as I worried it might. I would recommend to everyone.

Went to both museums. The first one was about the day. Your's was about healing and the eyewitness words of the photographer were heart felt. The people who ran it were warm and engaging. Enjoyed the experience emensely.

Amazing, touching

This museum was fabulous. New York offers other amazing tourist hotspot museums like madame tussauds and ripleys, but the ground zero workshop topped it all for me. You get to witness artifacts that you never thought would be shown to the public. The people there are kind and generous, they really treat their guests with respect and gratitude. It is DEFINITELY the biggest small museum in the world. 100% recommend, you would be missing out if you didnt go!

A Place of Closure - Especially for New Yorkers

I stumbled upon this museum and thought it would be really upsetting. But it actually made things more real and refreshed me with the selflessness of those who responded day after day to the site to help famillies find closure.

I AS A REGISTERED NURSE, EDUCATOR, AND HUMAN BEING WAS MOVED BEYOND WORDS AT THE MUSEUM. MY FEELINGS WERE TAKEN ON A ROLLERCOASTER AS I CRIED, LAUGHED, AND EVEN AT TIMES BECAME ANGRY. I RETURNED TO FLORIDA WITH MEMORIES AND PICTURES BUT MOST OF ALL NEW HOPE WITH THE UNITING OF THE GREAT PEOPLE OF NEW YORK AND THE WORLD. I HAVE TOLD MANY AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO ALL. THANK YOU KAREN SPURLOCK R.N.

The workshop was both informative and inspirational. Mr. Suson captured the emotion of a tragic time with class and respect. I would definitely recommend this event to both tourist and native New Yorkers.

When I first walked in, I thought I was in the wrong place. It's small and unimpressive looking. Once the guide started to explain why the space was so small, it all made sense. I was probably one of the best tours I've been on. It was incredibly informative and very personal. I thought they did an amazing job representing the thousands of lives affected Great Job!

A Spiritual and Emotional Experience

My friend and I went to the museum not knowing what to expect; however, we knew that while in New York we had to go there. She is a retired United Airlines flight attendent, and she wanted to pay her respects to her lost comrades. The museum is an amazing educational display of that fateful day and its aftermath. Gary Suson has done an outstanding job of sharing his experiences with the public and survivors of those lost on September 11, 2001. His photographs and narration gave a first hand explanation of what happened that fateful day and the months to follow. The museum is well organized, and each artifact tells a story. We were particularly moved by the page from Genesis 11 and the story of the Tower of Babel. We spent two hours at the museum listening to Gary's narration and viewing every photo and article on display. The next day we went to the World Trade Center site and watched construction workers build the new buildings. We were so glad we had gone to the museum first. As we watched the work in progress, we visualized what had taken place eight years ago. A visit to St. Paul's Church was also an emotional experience after we had heard Gary's stories and seen his photos about the work that went on inside the church to provide a place of rest for weary firemen, policemen, and volunteers. Every American should visit the Ground Zero Museum and St. Paul's. We truly understand why we must never forget what happened that day to take away our world as we knew it. Things have never been the same and never will again. We thank God for people like Gary Suson who will keep this information there for the public and the survivors to see and hear.

I'm glad I checked out this gem whilst in New York. I was only young when 9/11 happened, but recently I've felt compelled to go there and pay my respects. This tour was informative and in good taste. The guide was very approachable, and only too happy to answer any questions that we had. I would definitely stop by again on my next trip to New York, and I'll be recommending it to any of my friends that visit NYC.
