| I didn't know what to expect with the exhibit/museum but I couldn't believe how wonderful it turned out to be. First our tour guide was fantastic. She has a lot of information and was very helpful. All the items in the museum were amazing. Each picture brought me closer to the people involved in 9/11. Because I live in the west coast I didn't imagine I would feel so emotional about the WTC but in fact I felt closer than I had previously had. It really did give me hope and believe people are good in the midst of tragedy.
Since coming back all of us in the group have raved about how fantastic it was and have recommended to all our friends. |

| My 12 year old son and I, along with 2 of his friends and mothers went to this museum on a day trip to NYC. The boys were only 5 on 9/11 and felt this was a way to remind them all about that tragic day. They were unsure of going, but we dragged them along. They were glad they came along, and felt the experience was worthwhile. It is a place that everyone should visit at some point in their lives. |

| Our group included husband and myself, daughter(22) and son(14). We loved the entire Workshop, and especially appreciated the small and intimate setting the tour was given in. The highlight of the tour was Gary himself who happened to be there that day. His personal connection to the events and the photos taken made a permanent impression on all of us. Thank you, Gary. |

| It was unexpected because we actually thought we booked the tour at the WTC site, instead we went to the Meatpacking District to an out of the way second floor studio.
When we realized we misunderstood, we were somewhat anxious. But what an unexpected surprize. SO WORTH THE TIME! I have already told many friends around the country. This is truly one of Manhattan's best kept secrets.
It is an educational tour, a very personal tour and an extremely moving tour! And No walking needed except around the room. Gary Suson has given himself through his hundreds of photographs and collection of artifacts so that the visitor feels what he felt, sees what he saw and walks away with a real understanding of what it was like from September 11th, and throughout the following year. I love the way he has allowed the visitor to tour at his own pace and spend as much time as you want with each photo or artifact. It is a great idea to have the earsets and the flexibility to aim the remote in any order you wish to hear his own words as he felt and saw it, each day. He basically lived with the rescuers day in and day out and the visitor gets to share and be a part of that experience. And if it gets too emotional, they always remind you that there are "anti-depressant chocolates in the restroom" :-)
I will definitely go back as will my friends.....

| When we bought the tickets to the museum, I didn't know what to expect. Then when I saw all the pictures and artifacts from the recovery, I was so sad to see closer up what those people went through on the day of the attack on the towers and the recovery efforts afterwards.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It's a must see so that we will never forget what happened on that day.
I thought our tour guide Lauren was great and knowledeable. We actually got to meet Gary Marlon Suson in person. That was very special since he said he's not usually there to give tours anymore.
Thank you for the hospitality and for the opportunity to share your memories. We will never forget 9/11.
Sincerely,
Gary and Michelle Robbins |

| As Nova Scotians, my daughter and I only viewed through the eyes of the media the events of 9-11. This visit allowed us in a peaceful and respectful manner to observe the magnitude of the event that day and the effects it had on the people of New York city. I am very pleased we visited this site as it has created a more full appreciation of this historic event. |

| We thought the artifacts were interesting but somewaht repetitive. Were this part of a larger exhibit it would be excellent. However as a standalone we didn't think it was worth the admission fee. |
|
Really added to my understanding of the event.

| This is a "must see" tour, especially if visiting ground zero is something that interests you. If you do not live in New York it will really give you a much greater appreciation of the impact that the event had on the city and those who participated in the recovery process. My impression is that is not really about the World Trade Center collapsing but about the humanity and dignity that was brough back to site during the recovery process. It did give me a greater appreciation of the devastation that the event caused, but also gaive me peace about the reconstruction process that is presently occuring. |

| having worked in the WTC for many years, i didn't know how i was going to react to the musuem workshop and i also didn't know if my 10 year old son would be engaged. it was absolutely an amazing healing experience for both of us. Gary Suson's work is a living tribute to those that lost their lives and the people that tirelessly worked to save those that they could.
the intimacy of the environment lends itself to this experience being a shared energy with the small group of attendees, however, you also have the ability to be completely alone in your own experience as needed.
if you haven't been - you need to go - if you have, you need to go back. we will return. |
