| This event is an AWESOME experience. It made the whole 911 event so much real for me. I was in Atlanta when it happened and had to get home to Louisiana without air travel. All I could think about was getting home to my kids who were with my Mom while I was out town on business. My drama was nothing compared to the folks in NYC.
The biggest impact to me from this workshop was the realization that after the news stories slowed down and the rest of the US and world went back to our daily lives, the rescue efforts continued for 9 months! I had no idea how long, how intense and how overwhelming it all was. Being so far away, it is just not easy to imagine the horror of it all. The families and the fathers and sons impacted along with the long lasting affects blow my mind.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to the workshop, but it was worth the effort to get there, the time away from "fun" stuff on vacation and the time spent inside listening and looking. I looked at and listened to every picture I could fit in to the almost 2 hours I was there. And I still didn't get through them all.
I applaude Gary for his efforts in putting this together, for being present when we came to the workshop and all he is still doing for families impacted. Him being there was very special in that it made it so much more personal an event. His personal stories and input were invaluable.
I will recommend this museum/workshop to everyone I talk to about my vacation. I've already started! The 2 friends I was traveling with had very similar thoughts and feedback. They were both tahnking me for finding out about the workshop and getting the tickets.
All I can say is WOW! It was amazing! |

| The Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour was excellent and I highly recommend it. Mr. Gary Suson, the official photographer at Ground Zero, was present during our tour which was an extra plus. The photos are moving and the narration is extremely informative with a personal touch. The only possible downside is the location which is a little inconvenient. I had my mother with me who is in her upper 70's and the stairs were a little tough for her. No one offered her the use of the elevator. |

| Even though I am not American you cannot come here and NOT be touched and moved by the displays at the Ground Zero Workshop Museum. It's not large, but it's very well thought out and even manages to show humorous moments as well as very sad stories to hear about. You will see photos, pieces of glass from the World Trade Center, you can even touch it! You will be given an audio guide with numbers on the items which will explain to you what they are and what they mean. Staff are available to help and answer questions. One of the highlights of my visit to New York! |

| It far exceeded my expectations. We were lucky in that the photographer conducted the tour and his descriptions and stories were utterly moving. We had tears in our eyes, but they were tempered by pride and, yes, joy that our country came through this stronger than ever. Everyone should see this. |

| My husband and I visited the Ground Zero Museum Workshop on our first and only tourist visit to New York. With so much to see and so little time, we were torn with where to go and how best to spend our time. We are so happy we chose to visit the Museum! We were extremely impressed and moved! It was definitely the highlight of our trip. We loved the intimacy of the setting with the small space and small groups. We were not rushed and felt comfortable expressing emotions and asking questions. We had the great opportunity to meet Gary Suson the photographer; who was so gracious and willing to share his experience with us. His work is amazing! He brought to life the real events and rescue efforts that happened after 9/11. Not an activity for young children, but everyone who is old enough to hear about 9/11 should see this exhibit. It was created with taste and respect. It made us proud to be an American and proud of the brave men and woman within our boarders who help to protect us everyday (fire fighters, police, rescue workers, iron workers, etc.) We hope that someday this exhibit will travel around the U.S. so it can be shared with many others. Bravo! Thank you for bringing this to the public. |

| This exhibition has the potential to be very interesting. However, there is way too much emphasis on the photographer Gary Suson. The museum seems to be more about him than Ground Zero. The stories are quite schmaltzy and it is almost easy to forget what a horrific event this actually was. In addition, there were some silly rules, like not being able to photograph the part of the aircraft yet being able to photograph everything else. There were some interesting stories like the beer cans and the dogs. |

| I, along with three of my girlfriends from the UK, visited the museum on Dec 11th 2007.
We were not at all certain what to expect, hoping it would not dwell on the morbid.
Our main purpose was to pay our respects to all those who lost their lives on Sept 11th, also to their families and friends.
We need not have been concerned. From the moment we rang the bell, we were warmly welcomed by Lou, who gave the talk, also Gary Suson himself who happened to be at the museum that day.
We appreciated the ability to absorb the exhibits in our own time. The hand held commentary devices were ideal.
We found the entire experience to be moving and a great testimonial to the ultimate love and comradeship of the "first responders"

| We knew it would be memorable from the previous reviews but nothing can prepare you for the 2 hours that you spend with Gary. The film footage is particularly emotional and we now understand the need for the boxes of tissues placed around the room. The tour of the images and artifacts is very professionally presented, please take time and try to see & hear them all. Don't be afraid to shed a tear.
And please buy the book "Requiem". We did and will one day hand it to our Grandchildren to help them understand how the world changed forever on 9/11. |
