Small Museum had Big Impact

This museum ignited an interest in both myself and my 14-year old daughter who was too young to really feel the emotion behind 911. I highly recommend it!

The description on internet didn't quite allow to understand that this exhibition is really about the firemen, and their work after the towers came down. As remarkable as this has been it's finally very limited and not capturing the event in its entirity as one would expect. It's expensive and disappointing with a lot of emotional sensationalism. We were disappointed, didn't find it at all instructive or useful. There is also a lot of emotional sensationalism i have to say.

We cannot express enough just how moved we were by our experience at your museum. The touching stories behind every photograph and the insight it gave us was very emotional. It was wonderful to meet Gary Marlon Suson who was actually at the museum during our visit on Thursday 5 April 2012 at 1 pm and spoke to us all about his personal experiences. Thank you so much.

This little museum is a really important experinece to be part of humanity. The artefacts and story provide some real insights and time to ponder. we spen almost 2 hours there in just one small room.

everyone should visit this museum , small but with a big heart. hardly a word was spoken by the audience for two hours because they were so moved by what they saw and heard.

My son, age 15, and I were able to experience this museum together. While he cannot recount the actual event of 9/11, he has a better understanding and greater appreciation for the loss that we all experienced.

I would have rathered gone to Ground Zero. The location of this museum is out of the way and I didn't find the presentation at all moving.

Hard to recommend

Very small, nowhere near Ground Zero and focused totally on the clean up operation because of exclusive access of the photographer. One of my fellow travelers had been to the Museum near Ground Zero and was more moved by that exhibition.

It was intimate, informative and emotional.

The tour was recommended as a necessary prerequisite to seeing the 9/11 Memorial. I found the small, quiet group allowed for questions, greater up close and personal viewing of the items found at 9/11, and a peaceful and solemn time to reflect upon what happened on 9/11. My children were small at the time of this terrible incident and I felt that it was important for them to understand and grasp the magnitude of this day and the consequences. I feel that the museum enabled me and my family to experience through others words, actions and pictures the tragedy and the STRENGTH that arose from the American people on that sad and very memorable day. Thanks!

SMALL BUT INTENSE

Don't be deterred by the outside facade of building. Inside is a small, but informative, presentation of video & many photographs. Short video with many amazing pictures and stories from photographer. You really get a sense of what happened on 9/11 & afterwards with the search & rescue people. I would definitely recommend viewing these photographs and momentos.
