| An incredibly rewarding few hours.. Gary's spirit and passion ooze out of the walls of this very special place. If you visit New York you must come. Be prepared to relive some of the raw emotions of 9/11. You will also be uplifted by the photos and stories of the many heroes of that day.
Bravo Gary and thank you for letting us share the experiences and insights that were granted only to you.. |

| We enjoyed it very much. The pictures and the stories with them put a face to what happened. It made it more then just a story on the news. We will remember what happen and what the people did for each other. The pictures were very good. You could get a feel of what the were doing, and how much emotion was running thru them at that time.
The tour was good, but we felt like we could have been given the headphones and walked around on our own. We did not know that you had to go at the time of a tour. We had walked over to the museum at 11:00am (that is when the sign said it opened). Then we had to call and make reservations for a tour later that day. |

| I think we were expecting to see many more pictures and many larger pictures.
They take you into this room not larger than the average livingroom - diningroom combination and have you take a seat facing a 42" TV screen and you watch a movie from a CNN TV broadcast about the owner of the studio who took the pictures. Because of the people sitting in front of you, you can't even see the screen without shifting to look between people.
The audio descriptions of the individual pictures was good. I don't know how this museum got so many rave reviews on Trip Advisor. |

| The museum is a very tastefully and delicately prepared memorial to the tragic acts of 911. |

| To say we 'enjoyed' the visit to the Ground Zero Workshop Museum is not really the right word, but we're very pleased we did it. The groups are small which is nice as it is an intensely emotional and quite harrowing tour. It is mainly based on the photographs of the only authorized photographer of Ground Zero during the year following the tragedy of 911. Each photograph comes with a commentary which brings it to life and tells some very personal stories.
There are several boxes of tissues around and they were very much needed. You couldn't fail to be moved by the artifacts and photographs with their accompanying stories. However, amongst the stories of tragedy and death, the experience is strangely uplifting when you see how those events unified a city , you can really feel how indomitable the human spirit is.
After the museum we visited Ground Zero itself and at the moment there is really nothing to see but a perimeter fence around a large building site. That wouldn't have stopped me from visiting the site, but I would recommend a visit to the Workshop Museum aswell. |

| Even watching the all the news coverage of 9/11 you never actualy belive it realy happened, visiting this museum brings it to life by hearing all the personal experiences and tragedies of the people involved.
The emotions we experianced during our visit made us realy understand what the people of New York went through and their stories will live with us forever.
A visit to this museum should not be recomended. It should be compulsory for anyone visiting New York. |

| I thought the tour was great and very emotional for myself and family, since we lost my cousin Margaret Conner and friends on that fateful day of 911. I recommend this tour to everyone who is a human being. It shows just how fragile life can be for us all. This day is now a part of history and we must never forget that horrible day and the events that followed. The Museum Tour will help us with remembering 911, the day that changed us all in some way. Regards, Gene Reilly. |

| The fact that the museum is so small makes it so much more brilliant. The atrocities of 9/11 need to be remembered and this museum provides a vital inner viewpoint. The astonishing remnants from the buildings alongside the images with their moving stories really does make for a very good 2 hours. |

| The combination of the verbal introductory overview by the staff person, followed by the video portion of the tour, followed by the free time in the museum with the listening headset made for a very insightful and enlightening event. More than I expected going in and very nicely done. Very informative, moving and touching; and brought the pain and loss of the 9-11 victims and their families closer to home for the many of us who were witnesses of the event from a distance on television. It also drove home the exhausting, dedicated work of the rescue and recovery personnel that went on for months after the attack. The simplicity of the venue and the simple but well done method of conducting the exhibit and tour complimented the subject matter. |
