| THIS MUSEUM IS A TRUE TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO PERISHED ON 9/11. IT IS SO HARD TO FIND THIS SORT OF DETAIL AND INSIGHT ANYWHERE. THE MUSEUM IS IN A VERY INTIMATE, QUIET SETTING AND IT IS IN THIS SETTING THAT YOU CAN REFLECT ON THE EVENTS OF 9/11. WE BROUGHT OUR CHILDREN, AGES 8 AND 11, BECAUSE WE WANTED THEM TO GET SOME IDEA OF THE TRAGEDY OF THAT FATEFUL DAY AS THEY WERE BOTH SO YOUNG WHEN THE ACTUAL TRAGEDY OCCURED. THERE IS NO BETTER WAY THAN THIS MUSEUM FOR THAT PURPOSE. THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE IN NEW YORK THAT YOU WILL FIND ACTUAL PIECES OF THE GLASS AND STEEL FROM THE TWIN TOWERS AND ACTUALLY GET TO TOUCH SOME OF THE GLASS. EACH PHOTOGRAPH IN THE MUSEUM HAS A STORY BEHIND IT THAT YOU GET TO LISTEN TO. ON MOST DAYS, THE PHOTOGRAPHER THAT TOOK THE PHOTOS IS THERE, SO YOU CAN ALSO TALK TO HIM. IT WAS A TRULY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! DO NOT MISS IT!!! |

| My family (husband, myself,19 year old, and 15 year old twins) thought this was one of the best experiences of our trip to New York City. We are from North Carolina, and did not have any close personal connections to anyone in the city when the horrific events of 9/11 occurred. The only exposure that we had was through the media, which tended to focus on the planes crashing into the towers. This intimate museum experience puts names and faces to victims and their loved ones who were left to mourn their loss. I had to choke back tears as we listened to actual radio transmissions during the tragedy. To actually be able to hold pieces of steel and glass from the fallen towers made a lasting impression. We should never forget those who lost their lives on a day when terrorists struck our country. This museum experience was incredible. Kudoes to Gary Susson and the staff for sharing this experience with us!!!

| We were very disappointed with this workshop. This was nothing but a taped showed that aired on natural TV in an apartment. We also had the impression that we were to be taken to Ground Zero site as a part of the tour but was not.
Do not recommend this. May as well have gone to Ground Zero on your own and watch a rerun on the footage of the aftermath of 911. |

| As a native New Yorker, there was no better understanding of exactly what happened at ground zero than to attend this museum. Please take the time out of your trip to New York to visit. You will not regret it. |

| This museum is a must-see when you go to NYC! The tour guide and Suson himself were so down to earth and welcoming, I really just had an amazing time at the museum. Like I said its hard to put into words how you are going to feel and what you are going to take away from this workshop. It was intimate and tasteful and the artist just did such an amazing job with such a delicate topic. I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family. Young kids can go on the tour, but I wouldnt really recommend it to those younger than 2nd grade just because it would be more meaningful when they are a bit older. |

| I was glad to have gone, but was completely unprepared for the museum workshop to only be one small room, whilst it was thought provoking I did feel like I was penned up with not enough room to move and enjoy the photographs and other very informative and provoking pieces.
There was a small boy who although not delibrately, ruined the atmosphere throughout the presentation due to his bad behaiour and complete ignorance of how affecting the 9/11 attacks were and was unruly and behaved inapporpriately.
I think that parents should be made aware that it is important that the children who come understand the importance of behaving maturely as it is an event which is incredibly sensitive.
In general I would reccomend the workshop due to it's range of stories and rare photos. I think the museum is a great example of living education about an event which whilst morbid and depressing, helped humanity to understand that man, when at times of need is capable of amazing support and comfort and qualities that I would like to see more of without a devastating attack to prompt these. I have already told my parents who are coming in November that this is a must see gem of the city. |

| My husband and I just returned from a long weekend in New York and this was by far the best attraction we saw! I couldn't believe how much information was packed into one little room. It was very well-organized and very informative. It was wonderful to finally learn more about the personal impact of 9/11.... so much focus after the event was on the politics behind it and Gary Suson's images captured much more than this. Wonderful- highly recommended, DON'T MISS!!! |

| Having never lived in the US, 9/11 was an event that changed the world, sure, but not my world. My immediate world remained unaffected from the events of 9/11, of course it was affected but not in a way that was noticeable. Through the Ground Zero Museum, its stories and pictures I came to realize on a more personal level the lives that had been affected through this catastrophe. |
