| My experiance at the Ground Zero Workshop was unforgetable. The atmospher was pleasing and each exibit gave so much information about the aftermath to 911. I was totally impressed with how well this museum was put together. I was most impressed how all the money put into the museum is givin back to New York Fire Department. Alot of time, effort, and heart ach was put into this museum in a very personal and intimate manner. I recommend going to this museum and then visit ground zero its self. It puts the meaning into the aftermath of the tragedy ground zero. |

| My husband and I are New Yorkers and did not know about the museum. My grandson, who is 12 years old and lives in Brookline, Ma., told me he wanted to see it. What shocked me was that he knew about it and here I am in NYC and did not know about it.
To say I am very appreciative to my grandson for suggesting this activity, is putting it mildly. It is moving, jarring, very sad but very enlightening. While watching the film and seeing the artifacts I felt as though I was there. This is a museum that should be available for all to see.
The only recommendation I would offer is to get larger quarters. |

| A truly unique and very intimate experience, the Workshop is like nothing else you will see connected to 9/11. I was at first apprehensive that the very small space containing the Workshop would lead to disappointment, but in the end I was glad as each of the photographs and exhibits impacts such an emotional punch that even the 2-hour visit wasn't enough to do it all justice. Viewing 9/11 from the perspective of the recovery effort is humbling in a way I can't begin to describe, and my visit to the Workshop is something that will stay with me for a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Workshop to others and will certainly return during my next visit to NYC. |

| Don't let the exterior of this building in the old meat packing district fool you. The tour is definately worth the trip. The diner on the corner was great for brunch before walking down to meet our tour.
We were lucky enough to have a small group. The photographer was on hand to answer questions. The movie that opened the tour was moving and really shows his perspective.

| My sister and I are from England and visited the ground Zero Museum in March 2007 after y visiting the site of the Twin Towers the previous year.
The museum although small makes a huge impact, there are numerous photographs and artifacts from the World Trade Centre towers and most tell a story. they have a number displayed next to them and you have an individual hand held what looks like a mobile handset which explains each picture/artifact.
I am unable to put into words the emotion you feel when listerning and seeing these objects which range from a menu from the restaurant high in the towers to glass from the windows of the world trade centre itself.
I am extremely pleased that i attended as I felt as if I was respecting all those who lost their lives that dreadful day - all monies go to charities involved in the 9/11.
If you ever go to New York visiting this is a must. |

| I'm glad I visited. I can see how it would be very difficult for a native New Yorker, but it will help everyone to Never Forget. This is not a typical tourist thing to do. Gary was very straightforward in his presentation, and no pressure to buy a print or book. Recommend to all. |

| This was truely a unique experience. Don't expect a large museum. This is a small studio with many original photos and artifacts. Our tour guide on this day was the founder and photographer who took the pictures and collected the artifacts. There were only 4 of us their at this time. The guide took considerable time with us and explained many aspects of a truely tragic day and months that followed 9/11.
Again, don't expect a large museum, but a very intimate experiece to really get a unique perspective on 9/11, Well worth the time and money. |

| Not ever having seen the "Twin Towers" live and now that GZ is basically a construction sight, we were looking for a tour that would let us see the real ground zero following the days after the terror attacks. This museum did that for us. While the museum is only in a small 1 room studio, it has a powerful presence about it. A presence where you can get an understanding of the event and the days following. This is not a museum about the attacks themselves, but it is about the days and months following. Pictures of family and firefighter brethren searching for friends and love ones. Each picture and artifact display has a story behind it and that story is relayed to you by the artist who took the pictures. There are 100 of these stories. The museum tells the story, not of the deceased but of the living who worked so hard to find those who parrished. A picture of a father helping to carry his deceased fire fighter son from the sight. A clock that stopped at the exact timeof the collapse. Crosses cut from steal beams to give to the families of the deceased are just a few of the items you will see and touch. For anyone looking for some type of closer from this horrendous attack, we highly recommend a visit to the GZ Museum. |
