| It was O.K . The neighborhood didn't seem like the best place to be, even the cab driver said are you sure this is the right address?, but once we were greeted at the door by a nice looking young lady, I felt better. I expected the museum to be bigger than it was, and was a bit disappointed, because there were more pictures than items displayed. We took my grandson with us (11yrs old) I think he enjoyed it, because he liked the companion? (electronic listening devise) and he could go at his own pace and view what he wanted. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, but I thought the souvenirs were a bit pricey. $6.00 for a postcard. It was nice to visit once, but I don't think I will go back. |

| This was one of the most powerful presentations I have seen in a long time. Not only because the subject matter evokes emotions, but how the presentation was made, the individual displays, the small venue, the short descriptions of each picture all lent to providing a moving memorial to those who were so closely affected by this tragic event.. Thank you. |

| I was skeptical about this tour because I had never heard of the museum and alot of New Yorkers aren't aware of it either. My husband and I were there for three days and this was the most amazing, heart-wrenching, wonderful, tragic experience of our lives. Gary went through alot (God Bless Him) to show the American people that Recovery can happen. I believe this museum needs to be more well known. It really hits home!! People need to see this so they don't forget!! It not only helped us remember what happened on Sept. 11, but also made us more aware of what it was really like and what Gary and all the other Recovery workers went through. People need to remember this tragic event. ..Dale & Cherie Tweedie, Alton, IL |

| This exhibition provided the story behind the many images we've seen in the papers since 9/11. It made me realise that so much good and compassion has come out of a horrific and senseless act. |

| This is a small museum but very well presented. We definitely will recommend it to family and friends. It's a very emotional experience but something everyone should experience. We already plan on a return visit w/our 14yr. old. son. He read every page of the book we purchased on our visit. Thank you.
Just a suggestion: Also, sell sweatshirts and/or t-shirts in remembrance of 9-11-2001. |

| Upon entry I was concerned about the smallness of the facility, but quickly realized and felt the reasoning behind the setting. There are many little stories which allowed us to get a real understanding of the experience. A few of the stories and items shown are eerie and symbolic which makes the exhibit even better then expected. Gary Suson has done a wonderful job creating an environment and setting which allows the patron to bring children who can get a true feeling of the events while getting a feeling of hope for the good that came out of that horrible day. The entire gallery is appropriate for children that are of the age to understand what happened on 9/11. I hope you all enjoy as much as we did! |

| Overall the small museum provided a great perspective focused on the recovery process at ground zero. The photos were exceptional, and the stories behind them provided a personal view of the experience. The museum was primarily photography; however there were several artifacts from ground zero that provided an additionally chilling experience. |

| I feel so priviledged and blessed for having been permitted to view the 9-11 pictoral human-ness of that horrible day, and to hear the obviously heartfelt dialogue of the official NYFD photographer, Gary Suson, as he literally waded through one gut-wrenching experience after another. The personal experiences of Gary is portrayed through his compassionate and tasteful photography. No one can leave the same as he entered the museum. The regret is the exhibit is only there in NYC and not more accessible to the masses around the nation. Thank you so much for this always to be remembered experience.
We attended as mother, adult daughter, and 14 yr old grandson. The exhibit was captivating to each one equally. |

Couple on a Date |
| My husband and I have traveled to NYC only twice--both times post-9/11. Our most recent trip on the weekend of 9/11, we wanted to schedule the GZMW to honor those who lost their lives in the WTC attacks. We were prepared to spend an emotional, tearful few hours, and quite honestly, we weren't sure how affected our emotions would be for remainder of our trip. I must say that although we shed tears of sorrow for the many lives lost so tragically and for the void left behind for their families, our hearts were bursting with pride and love for all those involved in the recovery efforts. Gary Susson is blessed with a gift of capturing on film the raw emotions involved throughout those many months of the recovery, and in the most tasteful and loving way. Thank you Mr. Susson, thank you NYFD, and thank you NYC for making us even prouder to be Americans. |

| Great place to visit to appreciate 9-11 (although obviously very touching). We were fortunate enough for Gary to be present during our tour so we really got the upfront and personal. I would recommend attending! |
