Incredibly Moving

This tour was by appointment/reservation only and it was in a small group setting (15 or so people). It was very respectful and very tastefully done. There was an emphasis on healing, which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

For such a small space, the museum is really impactful. Gary Suson has created a space that is sensitive to its subject matter, while allowing those of us from out of town to learn about things that were never covered in the national news media. For anyone that experienced 9/11 only on TV, internet and in the news (not locals) it really gives you a sense of what the recovery was like, as if you watched it with your own two eyes. Make sure you go, and leave a donation!

This museum has been put together with a tremendous amount of thought and respect towards the victims of 9/11and their families. Very, very interesting and being able to hold some of the artifacts was an honor. We had the privilege of meeting Gary in person as he was at the museum on the day of our visit. He is a wonderful, caring person and it was a real treat to be able to talk with him and listen to his stories. I will visit the Ground Zero Museum Workshop again on my next visit. It's a must see! In an emotionally secure environment this museum depicts the recovery process at Ground Zero and amazing stories using photos and actual artifacts from the recovery effort. It was a very moving and a very personal experience. I'm sure it affects everyone in a different way! I found it very healing. If you want to understand the physical and emotional recovery of 9/11, you must take the time to visit this museum/workshop!

Fascinating and a must while vising New York
Tue, Feb 17  11:00 AM Tracey318 Female 40-49 International Tourist(s) Group of Friends
We visited the Ground Zero Museum with 8 x 18 year olds. We learnt so much - none of which (or could have been) broadcast at the time. So many little details and so many interesting facts. We were extremely lucky to meet Gary Marlon Suson who answered all the questions the girls had. We found the museum an extremely fitting tribute to the many thousands of people who perished in the atrocity which was 9/11. This should be on list of things to do while in New York.

Best Museum I've Been To!

My sister and I were in NYC for a few days. We had been to the Ground Zero site many times through the years to view the progress. We were searching online for things to do while in the City and came across this museum. We could not have been happier that we decided to go. This museum was very tastefully done with great respect given to the victims and survivors. It is a totally different picture of 9/11 than you have probably ever seen before. Very healing experience! The photographer, Gary Suson, even made a surprise visit at the end of our tour. Go...you won't be disappointed!

This was the BEST part of our vacation. We will tell everyone about it. 911 was life changing experience but the museum made it even more personal. Please continue your good works!

Museum contained many interesting photos and items from 9/11 and the World Trade Centers. Owner of museum was only photographer with 24 hour access to Ground Zero and was able to go anywhere. Many interesting things in the museum that I was unaware of.

It far exceeded my expectations. We were lucky in that the photographer conducted the tour and his descriptions and stories were utterly moving. We had tears in our eyes, but they were tempered by pride and, yes, joy that our country came through this stronger than ever. Everyone should see this.
