Moving thought provoking tour

The tour exposed us to the lives and experiences of those touched by 9/11. The event was emotionally and sensitively portrayed and enhanced our understanding of that terrible day.

This is something that everyone should see. It may be small in size, but it is big on passion and emotion. It gives a true feeling of what it was like after the devastation of 9-11.

Unfortunately, circumstances prevented us from using our tickets and experiencing the workshop. I hope that we will be able to visit sometime in the future.

I appreciated the opportunity to visit the Ground Zero Museum. It was quite interesting, educational, and inspiring. This was time well-spent while visiting in New York City.

The pictures and articles in the museum, along with the narrative, were awesome. They are a reminder the US is truly a nation that comes together in times of aversity.

A must see tour

This tour of the ground Zero museum was the best part of my trip. We booked our tour for Sept 11, 2009. The little room doesnt seem like much when you get there but by the end of the tour you realize just how much there really is. The setting is comfortable and the information is plentiful. Gary Suson did a little speech before the guide took over ( we were very lucky to be there on a day Gary Suson was there) Its very emotional and the stories heard are amazing, I could have went through the whole tour again if I could. If there is one thing on your list that should not be missed while visiting new york I would say this little museum is it. Gary Suson does an extremely amazing job at giving you an insight of what ground zero was really like and how everyone did the best they could to look after everyones loved ones and lost ones.

A must see if you are in New York

Well worth the money and time if you are in New York City. The museum was not what I expected in a physical sense, it is in a smaller room, and the number of people are limited, so book early to save a spot. The room is surrounded by Suson's photographs of the recovery, each with individual stories or experiences narrated by Gary Suson. The stories and photographs depicting the aftermath of this disaster were very moving. There is a short video presentation in the beginning and then some hands on exhibits and stories. The rest of the time is spent listening to numerous stories and experiences during the months of the recovery operation. This was very nice because you could go at your own pace and listen to as much as you wanted, as many times as you wanted. I would suggest going to this museum first before heading down to ground zero, the Subway is short walk after the Museum tour and it takes you right to Ground Zero. A moving experience...NEVER FORGET

I have been to this museum workshop earlier in the year. I find it a tourists' jewel and not very publicized. I understand the reasons, however, the concierges at the hotels should know about it. I did not go on this ticket. our trip was canceled.
