We went on 9/11/08 before we went to Ground Zero and what a heartwarming and heartwrenching tribute. The photos and artifacts were amazing in themselves but Gary's commentary and stories that accompanied them brought the whole experience to life. An extremely emotional and moving experience. Thank you Gary for giving us this wonderful gift.

I'm from Japan and 23 years old. When 911 happened on 9/11/2001, I was 15 years old. I was watching news about 911 on TV and couldn't believed that this is what happen actually. September 11th is really important for American, and people all over the world. We don't have to forget what happened there, a great many civilian lives were sacrificed, and 911 has been making a lot of victims in Iraq. It has been 7 years already since 911. Many people almost forget 911, but "Ground Zero Museum Workshop" reminds us, suggests many things to us. (I'm sorry I'm not good at English but I hope you understand what I want to say, how I felt.)

I always wanted to visit ground zero, ever since 9/11/01. I finally made the trip on 9/11/08 after visiting ground zero for the memorial service. I recommend anyone go and visit this great museum. It really enables you to connect with what happened at the World Trade Center. Being able to see and hold actual pieces of the World Trade Center is a moving experience in which you couldn't possibly experience elsewhere. The museum is one room and fairly small, but there are so many different pictures and artifacts that you could easily spend a couple hours looking at. I enjoyed the fact that there are "tour mates" which enable you to go about the museum at your own pace and leisure. A great museum with a lot of hard work and dedication; a must-see if you visit New York City!

As the parents of young boys, both of which are convinced they are going to be firefighters and police officers, this exhibit was very emotional and meaningful to us. My husband is a Police Sergeant for our local law enforement agency and the pictures represent the work he and his colleagues do, selflessly, every day. The exhibit is very professional, and very well organized. I hope it will be around for many years to come, so that we can return with our boys.

As the saying goes" A picture tells a thousand tales". Well, these did, and then some. As a lover of photography, I was immersed in every photograph and hearing of its origin was truly overwelming. A must see.

It was important for me that a trip to New York include some time reflecting on the events of September 11, 2001 and the rescue efforts that followed. I thought that the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour was not only informative but tastefully presented. I am today still unbelieving of the events of that day and comforted by the vision of the rescue efforts by my fellow man. Thank you for this unmissable opportunity.

There is an awe as you enter the one-room museum FULL of tender pictures and gut- wrenching artifacts. The video is beautifully and tastefully done and the guides are reverent in their portrayal of the events of 9/11. A must experience for any NY visitor or resident.

Although this is not what I would call a fun tour I think it is necessary for anyone visiting NYC to tour this museum. People seem to have a short memory and this museum does a good job of reminding us of the devastating effects of 9/11 to those in NYC and throughout the US. It also reminds us that we have to support whatever actions are necessary to ensure that an attack on our country never happens again.

The Ground Zero Museum Workshop was a great way to start our recent trip to NYC. The museum is full of amazing photos of ground zero from the first few weeks after 9/11/01. Each photo has a background provided by audio headset by the photographer. There are also some items to view that were in the towers. I would reccomend this visit before going to ground zero. There is also a museum at ground zero but we did not have time to tour it.

As a tourist to New York, we wanted to pay our respects to the terrorist victims of 9/11. But where? My 18 year old son knew about your workshop and asked us if we could go. The time spent at the museum workshop was informative, intimate and quite emotional. Many thanks to all involved in taking the time to remember all those who suffered and who died.
