I had a friend visiting from Canada who was interested in getting to know the city intimately and learning more about Ground Zero. I had been on this tour myself and knew it is phenomenal, so got him a ticket. He had Carla as his guide and said that she was a great host - very friendly, knowledgeable and put him at ease right away. I think visiting this museum should be something that everyone living in New York or visiting New York should do at least once. It is a memorable experience and extremely well done. Thank you very much for your great work. |

The exhibit was excellent, with terrific photography and informative insights. It was all audio and visual, which is fine, but I think it would have been nice to have some written text as well. Maybe some introduction to the project.
It was a good thing I kept my ticket I bought months ago, because I did not receive a reminder email, which would have been very nice to get a day or two prior to the date. Also, I looked at my ticket printout, and in the top portion with all the important information, there was no line for "Location" or "Address." So, very incorrectly, I assumed the museum was located at or around Ground Zero. I quickly found out this was not the case, and realized I had to read the first paragraph to see the correct address. It would be an easy fix if the address was on its own line, somewhere prominent at the top of the ticket. |

We found the museum to be very interesting but also very respectful to those who lost loved ones in the 9/ll tragedy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The tour is self led so one can spend as much time as needed to get information on the photos in the exhibit. Watch carefully for the banner on the building as we walked right by on the opposite side of the street without seeing it! |

I would highly recommend this to anyone. It was very moving and such an amazing way of providing a place where friends and family could go to reflect on the events from 9/11. Most of my party had a few tears in their eyes by the time the tour was over... The lady who explained everything was helpful and passionate. The audio systems was a great way of being able to listen and find out about each individual artifact and also enabled you to take your time with each item/photograph. Gary was there at the end to answer any questions and also to sign photos etc. I still cant believe the amazing photos I saw, where he was able to capture the sadness during the massive recovery operation at ground zero. There were some really lovely touches as well, like being offered chocolates at the end to lighten the mood! Thank you so much, this tour will be something that will stay with me forever. |

I thought that the exhibition was incredibly well done. A small room can hold a huge amount of information. It was quite an emotional experience for me. |

I took my son to the museam expecting to give him a good sense of 09-11, the impact on the US and the aftermath. In reviews people mentioned that the museam was small and I was very surprised to see it was in one small room. In addition the video's played were only on a small plasma screen on a normal stand, this could have been so much better.
I think the actual subject matter and imagary were excellent with some stunning photographs combined with interesteing audio descriptions. However in my mind this was a too narrow perspective and I would not recommend to anyone who wanted a complete overview of the subject. |

This is a small, studio sized museum filled with pictures taken by the owner, Gary, and items from the Ground Zero recovery effort. You will come away with a deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices made by the recovery workers. Gary's audio narrative on each piece is what makes this museum a must see for anyone interested in learning more about what the recovery effort was like at Ground Zero. It was a highlight of our NY trip. |

A very heartfelt and personal experience. Gave us a good account of what it was like during 9/11 and the recovery time. Enjoyed the artifacts that were on display, it really gave you a connection to the lives of families involved. It was not actually at Ground Zero location, but at location of photographer. Definitely would recommend. |

The photography was excellent and the commentary behind each picture was very informative and in most cases very moving. It demonstrated the courage and indefatigability of the fire and police services and all others involved in this immense task. We are so glad that we learned of this museum from our friends who visited it last year. We also visited Ground Zero and St. Paul's Church. My wife and I both feel that it is not as well publicised as it should be. We will recommend it to all fellow Scots planning to visit New York. |

Found the experience informative and emotive, Personally the two hours for the visit was not enough as the tour guide guides you to listen to events through headphones viewing unique photographs taken by a nominated photographer. even the smallest of photograhs with headphones provided give you a personal insight of what happened on the day. There was once piece of artifax which i will not spoil requested not to photograph was very poignant and this alone was worth the visit. I was very moved by the whole experience particular the opening video. Just go and experience this. |

I really could care less about the photographer. It's about the people who were lost that day and the injustice to our country. I really didn't care what Gary or what ever his name was- was feeling. Focus on the stories of the families and people who were killed. |
