One of the best experiences I have ever had learning about 9/11 and remembering the events that changed our way of life forever.
I recommend it 100% and we even had a chance to meet Mr. Suson who was such a wonderful person! |

The Ground Zero Museum Workshop brings reality, sadness and comfort together to remind us all to "Never Forget". Mr. Suson's photgraphs are remarkable and the artifacts and untold stories are breathtaking. There are no graphic displays of the horrors that took place during and after 9/11. The Museum is a place where you can go to honor and to respect the thousands of lives that were lost. It is suitable for children as they can learn about about a tragic event that changed the world they live in without bringing fear to their hearts. The fact that you can actually hold some of the artifacts is such a concrete way to bring reality to those of us that weren't there. There is one piece in particular, not to touch, not to photograph. It is the only remains that one gentleman has of his daughter and what Mr. Suson did for him is the most poiniant, heart touching act of kindness one can imagine. You absolutely must do the right thing and visit The Ground Museum Workshop. |

I was surprised on how small the museum was and lack of professionalism of the setup. I felt like I was going into someone's apartment...not to sure about going in.
I did like the humbleness and the sincerety of the photography. The photos chosen to use were in good taste and mindful of the feelings and privacy of the families involved. |

The Ground Zero Museum is a small intimate location that deals in a very sensitive and positive way with a delicate subject matter.
It portrays the events of 9/11 in a very human manner. Both my wife and I would highly recommend this exhibit. |

The Ground Zero Museum Workshop Tour wasn't much of tour at all. The "tour" consisted of a group of about 20 people, huddled around a flat screen monitor, watching a rerun CBS News episode of an interview with Gary Marlon Suson. Mr. Suson was apparently the "Official photographer at Ground Zero for FDNY). We were then left to browse the pictures, and random items collected, and on our wireless handsets listen to brief explanations about them. The room was crowded and cluttered with what looked to be peoples personal belongings. Almost as if someone lived there..... We didn't stay long. |

I was in NYC for a play on Sat. and wanted to see the WTC site. I'm glad I found out about the museum workshop. It made the trip to WTC even more meaningful. |

This small but powerful museum gives you such an understanding of the heroics and recovery that took place after the 9/11 tragedy. Gary takes you there with not only his pictures but the stories behind them. This truly is a place that lends it's hand in healing and overcoming such a horrible time in America's history. I walked out of there absolutely amazed at this experience. |

Gary Suson did a wonderful job making the tragedy of 9/11 into something that was creatively genius. The photos and the narrative documentary that explains the various aspects of the "pit" was well worth the visit. It is a reminder of all those that give freely of their lives to serve us here in the US and abroad. When you look at what not only the firefighters and the city had to deal with during that time, it makes you realize how we as American's are protected every day. The historical account that we have all lived through has changed the World. I will admit it is emotional but in a respectful kind of way. I can't imagine those that lost loved ones having to live through that time, but could see where this could be a powerful therapy to closure of the injustice that terrorism creates. I praise the Father above for the works of Mr. Suson, thank you for following though and forever will the photo of Genesis 11 grace my wall. |

My husband and I were really moved by the photography and articles on display from the 09/11 site. Photographer Suson did an amazing job gathering what we saw. The workshop was well designed and contain in a small enough area that we could share all the pictures and findings with others in one room which worked out well for my husband who has a problem with mobility. Thank you for a quality and memorable experience at a reasonable rate! Clara & Roy Raynor |
