| I visited the museem whilst visiting New York from the UK with my girlfriend and found it to be a fantastic experience and also very sad, the setting of the museem is very cumfortable and intermate, which helps to inhance the experience and also make you feel at ease and not afraid to express your emotion, there are also tissues placed around the room which are very handy as as I found out you will cry. The staff were extremely kind and knowlegable which also makes you feel at ease and not afraid to ask any questions. The audio gides and interactive artifacts make this museem unique in my eyes and along with the breathtaking pictures make you feel as if you are at ground zero as it is happening. Whilst there I was lucky enough to meet Gary Souson who is a remarkable and very talented man. I would strongly recomend this museem experience to anyone who has the chance to visit it, as it brings you in to touch with that infamous tradgedy like nothing before!! I hope that you get as much out of it as my girlfriend and I and make sure that you never forget 9/11 | ||||||

| Gary & his assistant were very accomodating to us! They put us back to the day of and days following 911. However, they did it in an uplifting way. Although you felt some of those desparate feelings from those days, the images here give you a sense of strength and hope for the days ahead. I can't explain it - you just have to go experience it. | ||||||

| I took two 10 year old twins to this museum. As we left, the girls turned to me and said, "Can we come back here sometime? " Both girls were touched by the museum...I felt the size was perfect for the girls and the personal, respectful nature of the staff added to their experience. Gary Suson was kind enough to take a picture of the girls with their cell phone which the girls treasure. I am a museum consultant, working on over 100 museums. I will tell you that this place is special because of the sensitivity and humanity that was characteristic of the design decisions. | ||||||

| This museum is a wonderful way to keep the memory of all those who lost their lives and all those who gave of their life alive. It is also a reminder of how one of the captions read...Two bullets went into the world trade center and love came out. This truely shows what this nation is made of and this display will remind generations to come that this is one nation under God. Thank you for keeping the memorial of "Love over Evil alive and of all the brave men and women for their sacrifice. | ||||||

A Must for Anyone Going to New York

| I found the Ground Zero Museum by complete accident while looking at things to do while in New York, although it looked interesting we all arrived on the day not really knowing what to expect, I guess we all had that element of doubt as to whether it would be a little disturbing and possibly tacky but I have to say it has been the highlight of our entire trip. We were lucky enough to have Gary Suson himself do the tour for us and I would say to anyone going to New York to go to the museum, there are lots of facts about what happened on the day, many photo's and artifacts from the actual site along with over 100 differen't commentries recorded by Gary himself explaining many things, it was a very emotional morning for our entire party and a very humbling experience, we all left feeling very drained but very pleased at the same time we did it, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. This is a must for anyone visiting New York, take half a day out and check it out. | ||||||

| This is the second time I have been to the musuem, and the first time for my husband. We both found it moving, amazing and totally mind blowing. Gary is always such a great host and has so much time for the attendees. I would, as I have before, highly recommend this workshop to anyone who I know is coming to New York. It was magical. It reminds me every time just how much the American people stuck together and got through such a tradegy with love and kindness to each other. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to see your photos and other workshop tributes. Vicky and Callum, England, 2008 | ||||||

Poignant Reminder of Our Nations History

| We were honored to have Gary Suson as our guide at the museum. The museum itself is intimate in nature, which you appreciate when you start hearing the stories behind each of the photographs. Gary was kind enough to answer and all questions we had about the WTC site, the photographs and the subjects of the photographs. Even with a second group coming in he made it clear we could stay as long as we liked. The museum really makes an emotional impact on you. Long after you have left that impact is felt and colors your day to day activities. It makes me appreciate the country we live in all that much more and reminds me that even after a horrific event like 9/11 instead of destroying us as a nation; it only was cause for us to bond together as a nation. | ||||||

| We finally were able to bring our 17 and 18 year old with us to New York. We brought them to the ground zero museum workshop to allow them to see first hand the impact of 911. As I expected, it was a very moving experience for all of us. We thought that the photographer Gary Suson did an extraoridinary job. God Bless Him!!911 changed our lives and has changed the future of our children. We know that our children will never forget our two plus hours at the museum and meeting Gary Suson themselves. It made a tremendous impact on them. It was a great education and gives them a little more strength to express their own views on the impact of 911. The woman that led our guide (I'm sorry, I forget her name) was very imformative, kind and sensitive. She could not have done a better job taking care of our needs that day. Thank you! | ||||||

| A harrowing, yet important collection of artefacts from September 11. We were fortunate to have Gary talk us through various elements. I would HIGHLY recommend this musuem to anyone visiting New York. I would also recommend that you go here before visiting Ground Zero. | ||||||

| We are a family of six ranging from me at 57 to my wife, 47, three girls 15-19 and a 13 year old boy. All of us found the experience very special indeed. I well remember that terrible day in September 2001, when I was in Hong Kong and stayed up for most of the night. This was harrowing enough but I had no idea how terrible the aftermath proved to be, nor that more than 10% of casualties were members of the NYFD. We will remember this unique and insightful experience for a long time. | ||||||
