A Must Visit

If you go to NYC make time to see this museum. We saw and did all of the typical tourist things (Empire State Building, Time Square, etc) but I would say that this museum was the most memorable thing we did on our trip. Take two hours out of your trip to take this tour. I will be worth it and something you'll never forget. This is all about the lives and stories after the tragic events on 9-11. The clean up, the lives lost and the lives impacted. It can be, at times, very gut wrenching but well worth it.

Walking in and seeing such a small room you wonder A) what you've paid for and B) how you can possibly spend 2 hours in there. What you get is a thought provoking but not upsetting experience, it's extremely interesting, suitable most ages and worthe every penny and minute you spend in there. A highlight of our trip.

Moving and Important - REMEMBER

The Museum was a very moving experience. We had the privilege of meeting Mr. Suson and that enhanced our visit. The entire world should be exposed to these moving, terrible moments in our history so that we do never forget. Zerve was also very helpful when we had to make a change. Thank you

My husband and I found the display of photos and artifacts very affecting. I'll always remember the clock on display that stopped at the very moment the plane hit the tower. The small quarters of the museum enhanced the reality of what we were seeing. It also made us feel privileged to be there. Thank you for leaving boxes of Kleenex around.

The emotional , non-sensationalized side of WTC
Sat, Oct 17  11:00 AM lkedrowski Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
What an excellent opportunity to learn more about the human side of the people and events involved in the WTC and the personal trauma and loss to those involved. This is a beautifully presented, somber, and reflective exhibit. The photographer, Gary Suson himself , was present at the museum which humbled me and gave the images grace in his presence. From the tragic events of 9/11, Mr. Suson presents his work in a healing atmosphere that brings people together and reinforces the thought that we must "Never forget". I will never forget this museum and its powerful significance.

Should not be missed by anyone who does not believe America is under attack and at high risk.

The museum was very well and sensitively presented. It was an amazing way to present such real and harrowing images of that fateful day. We are still talking about it now.A bonus was meeting the photographer himself . Would strongly recommend a visit to this museum.

I visited the museum a few days ago. Although it was in a small space, the photographs and few remaining pieces from the rubble spoke volumes. Prior to seeing the museum, all my thoughts about 9-11 were simply regarding that day but nothing thereafter. After viewing the museum, I have the continuation of the story- still filled with sadness, but also complemented with human kindness, faith, and muted inspiration.

The video, artifacts and photograph descriptions were very tastefully done and provided a very moving insight into the horror of the day. Amazing that such a small museum could hold our attention for a full 2 hours.

I would highly recommend this museum and we were very fortunate to meet Gary when we visited. The photos and artifacts display not only the pain and anguish of September 11, but also the resilience and strength of America and her people. They remind us that for short time we came together simply as Americans, regardless of our differences in politics, religion, race, culture, etc. They remind us of our potential to do so again.

Truly earns its nickname as the "biggest small museum" in NYC. It was a humbling afternoon.
