| The 911/Ground Zero museum was great. It was very simple, but straight to the point. No "fluff"!!! The best way to feel you were there or have been there is through visual and touch. That's exactly what the museum has to offer. It has a display of photography that is amazing. What is ever so amazing is that none of the photographs were altered so you would buy them! It was the reality of the scene, good and bad. You don't have a chose, but to witness what the people who helped dig and clear ground zero did. You feel sad and happy after leaving the museum. The reason for the sadness is understood, but the happiness of how the people pulled together is very touching. The TV could never illustrate the whole truths, but the museum does. If you are lucky enough to meet the photographer/firefighter that made this all possible you are even more fortunate. I had that opportunity and he was real!!!!! The energy and love he has for "his" museum is electric. Take the short amount of time while you are in THE CITY and see what REALLY happened at Ground Zero. Buy his collection while you are there. You can take your time and really see what he saw and felt. There are moments in his book you think you are there. You can cry and laugh again, alone! With much thanx for inviting me into a huge part of your life, Teri Miller P.s. I WILL see you on broadway! | ||||||

| Ground zero museum workshops brings the horror and aftermath of 9/11 to life as it was seen by firefighters and workers on the scene. It was one of the most touching things I have ever experienced. To see the artifacts and the faces of the workers as what happened was being unfolded was life changing. | ||||||

| Lost for words ........ A truly amazing exhibition for anyone that wishes to have some understanding of 9/11 and its recovery. Gary Marlon Suson beautifully portrays images and items leaving you feeling full of emotion and understanding of something that is so difficult to come to terms with. It certainly is worth a visit in a very relaxed atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone. | ||||||

| I truly enjoyed the tour. I was a little skeptical at first because it is small but I was very suprised. It was well worth it! Very touching and I learned a few things about the events of 9/11 that I never knew. Alot is packed into this small tour!! You must see it if you are in New York! | ||||||

| I would definitely recommend the Ground Zero Museum. It is an emotional and intimate experience - with over 100 exhibits displayed in just a small studio room. The tour starts with a couple of short video clips which are very moving - lots of tissues being passed around - then there is the chance to hold some artifacts extracted from Ground Zero. Finally the audio tour lets you hear the stories behind chosen exhibits and photographs. There's 2 hours allocated to each tour, so there is time to hear every story, if you can handle it. | ||||||

| Very moving, respectful tribute to 9/11. The memories, the moments, the thoughts, the people, encompasses all aspects of that fateful day and the many days that followed. The curators were so kind, and the owner/photographer mingled with us at the end of the tour. He also took time to take photos with our group which ranged in ages of 40 to 10. All museum content was appropriate for all. I would put this museum at the top of your to do list in New York City. God's Blessings, Your 4 Texas Ladies! | ||||||

| This was a tremendously powerful display of GroundZero images and artifacts in an intimate setting. The room is very small; there are couches and stools to sit on as you view the images and listen to the stories from the recovery efforts. They provide the Kleenexes--a good thing because you will need them! The day we were there, the photographer, Gary Suson, was there and visited with everyone and signed books and posters for us. I highly recommend this for anyone trying to understand the impact of 9/11. It was a highlight of our trip for all four of us. | ||||||

| Suggest that the on-line booking or information website gives more background on what can be expected at the museum. When one talks of a museum you naturally assume that this is multi-levelled and has many rooms with artifacts and information. My husband and i were initially very disappointed in the museum - the first impression was not what we had expected. The introduction was interesting and the interaction with each item via your radio connection is a great idea. Too many people to be able to easily get to points when we needed to and the combination of an office and a museum was unexpected and perhaps not appropriate. Overall the museum was interesting and we learned alot from the experience. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour for individuals who want to comprehend the events of Sept 11th and their aftermath through the lens of the individuals and families who were among those most immediately affected by this terrible tragedy. The museum is really a small room with dozens of artifacts and pictures assembled to tell multiple stories of the people who died on that day as well as the firefighters and rescue workers tasked with the grim and solemn responsibility to recover bodies and dismantle the site. Each story and picture is unique in its own way; the cumulative effect puts a very human face on the devastation wrought by this inconceivable act of violence. The stories of these people are told by the photographer, Gary Susson, with great care, respect, and love though pictures and spoken words. Viewing the pictures and hearing stories was my own act of remembrance that had more personal value than had I merely visited the Ground Zero site. | ||||||

| This was one of the most impressive things we saw on our visit to NYC in 2008 "Lest We never Forget" It was so poignant without being obtrusive and gory. The pictures told a 1000 words and the audio attached to each picture told the story of that particular picture to the fullest. The whole thing had deep meaning-one left this exhibit/lecture feeling a connection to those who not only left us on this fateful day but also to the loved ones they left behind. I would recommend it highly to ech and everyone who visits NYC | ||||||

| Like my reaction to the events of 9/11 my workshop experience was very personal. As a native New Yorker living on the west coast I felt a need to be more connected to those affected by the tragedy. I have always felt something was "missing" for me because I wasn't there when it happened and so I made a special trip to New York to visit Ground Zero and the Museum Workshop. Seeing the photos of the rescue workers, hearing the stories behind the photos, and actually being able to touch pieces of the World Trade Center gave me the connection and understanding I was looking for. It's a very powerful experience and one that should not be missed. Never forget. | ||||||
