| I thought that the exhibition was incredibly well done. A small room can hold a huge amount of information. It was quite an emotional experience for me. | ||||||

| For such a small venue, this place packs a huge punch. Delivered in a sensitive and careful way, the story is told with photos, video and pieces of debris from the site. Be prepared to be upset. | ||||||

An emotional roller-coaster

| I entered not knowing what to expect, a tiny room on the 2nd floor of a building. a room full of pictures, archives, and a ton of humanity. The self-guided tour allowed you to take whatever time you wanted. This was a good thing because it allowed you the time to emotionalyy recover from the last narration. I am a 40+ year-old man and there was several times when all I could do was hold my tears back. There was some humor in some of the photos, so it was good to go back to them and recover from the anger, sadeness, or the many other emotions I was feeling at the time. This "little" museum's set-up was very thought out, very easy to work, and again being self-paced allowed you all the time you needed. I spent almost 2 hours in a 400 sq. ft. room struggling to mentally and emotionally control myself. This is a MUST DO for anyone visiting NYC. Instead of taking a taxi to my next stop I walked the 43 blocks instead. The pictures and emotions still going through my mind, it was like going to a wedding then a funeral then a birth. Again an emotional roller-coatser that was the greatest ride I had inNYC. | ||||||

| In an emotionally secure environment this museum depicts the recovery process at Ground Zero and amazing stories using photos and actual artifacts from the recovery effort. It was a very moving and a very personal experience. I'm sure it affects everyone in a different way! I found it very healing. If you want to understand the physical and emotional recovery of 9/11, you must take the time to visit this museum/workshop! | ||||||

| In May, my husband and I went to Ground Zero itself where we had discovered that there was a Ground Zero Museum. The next time we came to NYC we decided that we were going to tour the museum. As a gift to my folks for their 50th Wedding Anniversary we decided to to visit NYC late October. We visited the museum first and then took my folks to Ground Zero. We came away from the museum in awe of what we saw and heard. It was my folk's first time to Ground Zero, for them it put things in a different prospective. Since we have been back home, I have recommended this tour to those I work with and to our children. | ||||||

| This museum was incredible. Very well put together and thought invoking. It helped me understand somewhat of what people in the days after 9/11 had to endure. The staff is very kind and informative. A definite must see while you are in New York! | ||||||

| Everyone will have their own reaction to this small museum, driven, I suspect, by varying degrees of humanity and political viewpoint. Whatever that mixture may be, the fact that one chooses to visit at all suggests the former is of some importance. Because GZMW is an experience I won't go into detail about what to expect - enough is available elsewhere - but would recommend it as a reminder of those awful days and as a tiny insight into the toil and emotion of those who were involved in the recovery process. GZMW is not enjoyable, but I am profoundly glad to have seen it and would urge you to take a deep breath and do the same. | ||||||

| a workshop that helps one heal from the events of 9/11. i wavered back and forth when i came to visit nyc of whether or not i'd be able to even go look at ground zero or not. i heard about this workshop, and although i was still unsure, i decided i needed to try and face some of my fears of that day. i would recommend the workshop to anyone. i thank the artist for putting the small space together- it's perfect. it's intimate and safe and each person can listen to as much information as they can handle. i always felt so silly for being so affected from that day. i was living 1200 miles away (in minnesota). i always wondered why it saddened me as much as it did. i was able to work through my grief and come to terms with that day. i can now look at pictures and video of that day and still remember, but not become so overwhelmed. thank you. | ||||||

| My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed The Ground Zero Museum. We got a really good feel for what the firefighters and rescuers went through and what they had to deal with. There is a story behind every picture and every item recovered during that time. It was heartwarming and very tastefully done. It’s a great place to go and reflect on that day and hear about the selfless people who made such an impact on that horrific day and time in our history. It’s a must see if your in NYC. | ||||||

| This museum was absolutely amazing! We had the pleasure of actually meeting Mr. Suson and talking with him. Our tour guide, Joe, was an extraordinary individual as well. He told us of his first hand experience/hardships during the tragic events of 9/11. This museum should be experienced by all - as not only does it keep the memory alive - it helps all those personally affected. I am so very grateful that we decided to buy these tickets, and I was blessed by having experienced it. I shall truly never forget Mr. Suson, Joe, or the lessons they taught us. | ||||||

| We found the Ground Zero Museum Workshop extremely moving and thought provoking - I only wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We felt honoured to meet Gary, the creator of the museum and also our tour guide Joe who was able to provide real insight into the events on 9/11. The stories about the photographs and artefacts were, at times, difficult to listen to but seeing them certainly brought home the stark reality of what happened that day and in the months and indeed years that followed as the Ground Zero site was cleared. We would definitely recommend visiting this museum. | ||||||

| I lived in NY on 9/11 and moved to LA shortly after. I have come to NY many times but never wanted to go around the Trade Center. This was a perfect experience - reliving what happened to the city and to its people. You've done an amazing job and I will recommend it to everyone - we can never forget. Thanks | ||||||
