INTERESTING EVENINING IN NEWBURGH

Captain Bob is the best. He is knowledgeable and very accomodating. I was allowed in the captain's area to have an excellent view and learnt a lot. Drinks are reasonably priced. Should offer more more trips that last into the night with music and dancing.

On a spectacular Sunday afternoon in early September, my boyfriend and I were looking to get out of Manhattan for the day to enjoy the end-of-summer weather. We left the city around 11:00am, got to Newburgh by 12:30pm, and boarded the boat just in time to get the last two seats on the upper deck. The cruise was just the right length of time, and the views were fabulous. My only complaint was that it was hard to hear the commentary about what we were seeing from the back of the upper deck. You really had to be close to the speakers to understand the information about what we were seeing.

We found the Pride of the Hudson tour very informative and a very pleasant ride. We highly recommend this tour to tourists and people who live in the Hudson Valley.

We had a short family holiday, took the 4pm 2hour tour. All eight of us loved the experience. The views were spectacular, can only imagine when the leaves are in full color. [ May need to come back for that. ] Very relaxing and peace full .

We enjoyed our trip

Even though it was a rainy day we truly enjoyed our ride on the boat. For me this was a return trip. For the others in my group this was a first time experience. We all enjoyed it very much. The crew was extremely pleasant. When there was a break in the rain we were able to venture up top & there the crew provided us with cloths to dry seats & tables....how nice was that! When the rain returned we went back inside, ordered food, & sat inside to watch the view. We mentioned that being wet it was a little cool with the air on & they turned it right down. My only complaint was that the narrator was not loud enough. So we did miss some of the facts. Otherwise wonderful trip. Can't wait to go again. Lynne Edwards
