My family from Maryland was visiting NY for the first time. I had searched and searched both newspapers and websites for something special to show off our beautiful area. This cruise turned out to be the best decision I could have made! We were able to sit in an air conditioned section of the ship, had a bar conveniently located and were able to get a narrative of the areas we were seeing. My family thought this cruise was one of the best experiences they had, and have sworn to come back to see what the Fall on the Hudson looks like. Thank you for making this a cherished experience for us all. |

The boat ride out to the island was beautiful, and we learned a lot from the videos we watched on board. All of the staff were wonderful, and the island was just as impressive as one would expect. I felt that our tour group was too large, however. There were 44 of us on the boat and they split us in half, into two groups of 22. Some of the people in our group were chatting with each other while the tour went on, and the places we stopped along the island didn't always allow for us to stand within earshot of the tour guide. We often couldn't hear what was being said. I'd really recommend that they have more tour guides on hand, and so a smaller tour group size, if possible. |

We had a lovely adventure and were very lucky to have a beautiful day for our trip to the island. My only suggestion would have been to give us a few minutes to take pictures between stops because I felt a little rushed. Other than that, it was a great trip and would recommend it to friends. Our tour guide, Margaret, was very knowledgeable and kind. |

We had a beautiful day and the trip over to the castle was very relaxing. The tour guide that we had was excellent. She was very involved with the history of the castle and knew her material. Had a great love of the property and took care to make sure we were all in the shade as stories were shared about the building and garden.
Made our day and recommend this to everyone. |

Scenic Cruise marred by a group of unruly campers

The cruise of the Hudson was scenic and informative. It would also have been a relaxing way to spend 2 hours except there was a group of children from a local camp who were also on the cruise. The children were noisy and would not stay seated for more that a few minutes. Neither their escorts nor the crew did much to control them. They seemed to have no interest in what the scenery or the narration. What a waste. |

This is a great way to entertain out-of-towners for a few hours or enjoy a new look of the Hudson if you're local. The tour was informative, the people were friendly, and the view was beautiful. |

Visiting Bannerman Castle offered my friends and I an interesting adventure including: a ferry ride, being outdoors, learning the history, getting exercise, and doing something local but not the 'run-of-the-norm' kind of activity. In addition to all this, the staff were very kind, informative, articulate and passionate. |

AFTER BEING GREETED BEFORE COMING ABOARD, THINGS SPIRAL INTO MEDIOCRITY. THE BAR HAD ONLY BLENDER SO IF SOMEONE ORDERED A BLENDED DRINK YOU HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE BLENDER WAS EMPTY AGAIN. THIS IS THE FIRST BAR I EVER HEARD OF HAVING ONLY ONE BLENDER TO SERVICE EVERYONE. THE TOUR WAS PRE-RECORDED AND OFTEN LAGGED BEHIND WHAT WE WERE SEEING. OVERALL THE TRIP WAS A BORE, THE BAR OFFERED NO RESPITE ..... SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! |

We were a group of 20 aged from infant to senior citizen and everyone seemed to have a good time. The staff was pleasant, the narration informative and the amount of time was perfect. I would just suggest an update of the boat decor would be nice. |
