Hudson River Adventures

The weather was not the best, but the cruise was enjoyable. I took pictures from the upper deck and saw some very interesting sites. There was an audio presentation during the cruise, which was helpful. But we were very upset at some of the other people that were very loud and playing cards. There were three ladies behind us that talked the whole two hours and did not look out the windows to enjoy the view. The drink service was very good. This was our first time visiting the Hudson River Valley. Thx for the "Cruise"

As indicated above, we are 'neutral' in our rating. Chief complaints, the narration was a recording, long silences (Cold Spring never mentioned), and somewhat difficult to hear in the enclosed cabin (it was raining).

We enjoyed are tour immensely are tour guide was very good and the boat ride was great. i would go back again this is how much i enjoyed it.

We had an enjoyable afternoon touring Bannerman island. the tour guides were outstanding and knowledgeable.

This is a pleasant ride down the Hudson River to the area of West Point, and then the boat turns around and comes back. There is some taped narration that explains some points of interest along the way. This ride is very relaxing, and I would highly recommend it!

We arrived on the boat and were met by friendly and knowledgeable guides. The island and its ruins are quite interesting. The warning to wear sturdy shoes and be ready to climb is something to take seriously -- its hilly and the paths are often a bit steep and rocky. But it's a fascinating view into a family and an era, and the views are lovely.

Nice scenic 2hr tour of the hudson. Its an hour up the river and an hour back. First hour was very informative although they could do a little better job pointing out the sight they are talking about. To be fair though, they do go around and ask if you have any questions. And the guy gave me a nice detailed answer. The way back there wasn't much more to say so it felt a little long but it was still very nice. I would definitely go again and definitely reccomend it.

Very well versed on the scenic sites that are being passed on the tour. Only suggestion might be a little more said on the return trip, especially if the sights are on the starboard side and you happen to be sitting on the port side. Minor point. Everyone was very pleasant on the boat.

My husband and I were traveling in the Hudson River Valley and thought this trip would be a good way to see the area from a different venue. We really enjoyed ourselves. The ship was clean and the staff friendly. The other guests on our cruise were friendly and the views were awe-inspiring!

My friend and I had a great time making our way out to Pollepel island to learn more about the hidden historic treasure that is Bannerman Castle! The short boat ride, starting and ending the guided tour of the island, features a brief educational video about the island's history and lovely views up and down the majestic Hudson. The guided tour of the island includes multiple stops and a ton of information about the Bannerman family, their business, and the castle's decline. Although extremely knowledgeable the tour guides could use a bit more practice in their delivery. All in all, though, if you're into quirky history and an adventure somewhat off the beaten track this tour is for you! And a portion of what you pay for your ticket goes to preserving what is left of this amazing building. Go see it while you still can!

Pleasant boat ride, good guides.

Thetour was great, especially when a crew member helped us by pointing out a specific place.What was VERY BAD was the signage for directions to the tour location. Used my GPS and sitll had to flounder and walk about 1/4 mile to the pier. Never saw ANY signs pointing us to the dock This happened with all (about 5 cars) in our group.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Will probably plan to do again with another person.
