About The Seller:
The Haight Ashbury Flower Power Walking Tour is a tribute to a historically significant era -- which the owner/guide has lived through, and can still remember! Her mom opened an anti-war coffeehouse and Long Island's first head shop, providing Pam with early exposure to the Sixties counter-culture! Since 1996 we have been sharing the hippie ideology, what made the magic happen, as well as what happened to it, right from the world renowned epicenter of alternative consciousness.
Pam visited the Haight during the peak of the Summer of Love and Woodstock in 1969. She has a reverence for Victorian architecture and restored an old beauty from which she runs The Herb'n Inn, co-produces The Hippy Gourmet TV show and houses the Psychedelic History Museum.
Each of the guides, Pam, Izu and Stan, are kindred spirits with similarly excellent hippie credentials! Wait till you hear their stories...
