| The Flower Power walking tour is absolutely excellent and incredible value. Isu, our guide, was very funny, informative, sweet and so enthusiastic. She kept us all enthralled even on a colder than usual San Francisco day. The tour tells you so much more than you would find in any guide book and it is really enhanced by Isu's personal knowledge and experience of the area. She is easily the best tour guide I have ever come across. The tour is just the right length and an easy walk even for those who aren't very fit. Isu also provides useful recommendations for shopping and eating in the area - we chose to eat at the Red Vic which provides delicious cheap food and very friendly service. Recommended with no reservations at all - a wonderful experience! (but dress warm in case the weather is as chilly as it was when we went ;) ... ) |

| Izu was fabulous. I enjoyed her personality and also the personal detail that she was able to add to the tour. I don't think it would have been the same with someone just speaking about the occurances and not actually living them. I stayed on Haight street so it was a good way to find out more about the area I resided in for 7 days. I am so glad I saw the tour on the internet. |

| Isu provided much anecdotal info about the history of the area that made this tour awesome! Hit the highlights of who lived where back then with some interesting asides to go along with all the facts. A great tour - informative, entertaining, moves quickly - good stuff! |

| Fabulous tour! Izu, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, well-spoken, interesting, friendly, and funny.
It was the highlight of our trip to San Francisco. Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Five stars!!! |

| I highly recommend this walking tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to the bay area. Our tour guide "Izu" was simply wonderful. Her knowledge of the area past and present was very informative. She provided detailed description of the past and discussed the current struggles of the area. You will see many points of interest and relive a little bit of the past only seen in documentaries. If you have the time take this tour, you won't be sorry. |

| The Flower Power Walking tour was a fun and unique experience while still managing to be informative and historical. The tour guide was spectacular -- engaging, funny and a perfectly genuine fit for a "hippie tour". Our group loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to not only see Haight Ashbury but truly experience and understand it.

What was really great about the Flower Power Haight Asbury tour is that the guide, IZY, was fantastic from the first moment that she greeted us. Her attitude and enthusiasm were contagious. She was not a phony at all. She had a genuine love for the people and environment of Haight Street, having known personally many of the musicians and participants of the scene from the 60s. Her tour created a world that was so fascinating and so real that it felt like being back there in the 60s. When the tour was over I felt like I had to wake up from a wonderful dream and return to the ordinariness of modern day San Francisco.
A UNIQUE TIME IN HUMAN HISTORY
The Haight Asbury scene lasted for several years in the late 60s was a unique time in human history. It was an extremely rare time when a true feeling of good will and human brotherhood (and sisterhood) existed for a very brief time. Haight street in San Francisco, I learned was worldwide capital of the hippie movement. All the greatest musicians of the day were influenced to some extent by the Haight Ashbury scene, where positive human values and a true feeling of service, expressed by helping one's fellow man (or women).
At the end of the tour, she showed us how the ideals of hippies still live on today in various ways. There were also numerous books and pictures of famous people that she showed through out the tour and also at the end when we went inside a house in the area.
