| Undoubtedly, the best tour in San Francisco.
Our tour guide and local hippie, Izu Interlandi, was incredible.
Izu's colorful description of the area and close attention to detail will take you on an unforgettable trip. Izu's 35 plus years in the Haight, add a personal experience to the tour; second to none. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

| Tour was very good in pointing out the historical signicance of this area. Tour leader sometimes talked too fast asnd assumed that you were familiar with all the historical names. |

| The tour guide is a longstanding neighborhood resident with a deep history of community involvement and knowledge of the Haight. During the tour, he was recognized and greeted by community members. In addition to pointing out the usual highlights (e.g. homes of Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Hell's Angels, Charles Manson), he also recounted numerous personal experiences. All in all, an enjoyable tour that made us want to return to explore the eclectic shops and restaurants. |

| We really enjoyed this tour - one of the best ones we took in San Francisco. The tour guide (Rik) was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. We have told all our friends and family about the tour and I'm sure they will take it when they get to San Francisco. |

| I'm not from the hippie generation but wanted to find out about it and all the media that surrounded Haight-Ashbury. The tour guide has been doing the tour for 16 years and not only that he lives/lived in the area. So, he has first hand information about who lived there, what they did, and what the whole era was about. I highly reccomend it no matter what age you are. |

| Stan was our guide. He was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. I had a friend in from out town and my girlfriend along with me for the tour. This is something I will do for every out of town guest that comes to visit. I came away with a better understanding of the movement and some really cool photos. I would recommend this to locals, tourists, young and old. |

| Laid back but very thorough, leisurely paced but didn't drag. Izu was a great guide and an interesting, enjoyable person. She was very personable and it's easy to see why she does this type of work and has so many friends along the tour route.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a nice way to spend a couple hours getting aquainted with the "haight" without digging through guide books.

| The Flower Power Walking Tour takes you to the important places in The Haight, but more than that, Izu, a bonafide hippie, tells you the hows and whys of hippie life as it was in the Summer Of Love and the years following. Her real life stories are non-stop, both fascinating and hilarious. I am local to the Bay Area and took my son and a visitor from England, both 19 years old. Izu's recommendations for restaurants and shopping matched our own local knowledge of the best and funkiest places. We had a great time! Walking tours are the best way to see our beautiful city by the bay! |

| The tour brought back many fond memories of my youth so it was great in that respect alone but what made it evan better was how many things I learned about SF. Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and efficient in his delivery. I am planning on going back and taking my son on Labor Day. Thanks again to Stan, may he "Live Long and Prosper" |
