| This was a very fun time! I learned alot about the area the guide was very knowledgeable on the history and some very interesting facts about the haight area.
I would recommend anyone that is in the area take this tour if you remember anything about the hippie era. Was very informative and just a lot of fun! |

| Cool insider who knows the neighborhood and the neighbors. Touched upon Haight history with annecdotes and visuals. A total insider with personality plus, at the end of the tour, we felt like we could call her and ask, "What's going on IZU?"
If anything, it would be cool to provide a bit more of an academic slant a la American Social History, so teens could get an idea of how important the cultural movement was. How America was turning a corner, losing its innocence, and the young people of this country, their beliefs and convictions truly affected our Nation's development at the end of the twentieth century. The Haight in the sixties and seventies wasn't just about clothing, hair, and drugs. It was about very significant political and philosophical change. To some young developing minds, it's about wearing the tee shirt. That is disappointing.

| This was an excellent walkiing tour of Haight Ashbury...both informative and lots of fun. Our tour guide (Izu) had "lived the life" so she was full of lots of information and personal stories. She had lived thru the summer of love and still lives in the area today. My friend and I both totally enjoyed the tour. |

| This was an extremely enjoyable tour. Izu was fun, and had lots of knowledge and juicy tidbits to depart! It was our most favorite activity in our trip to San Francisco. I truly felt that I had a sense of what things were like in the 60's, and what the community is like now. We spent another 3 hours wandering the shops, eating lunch, and enjoying the atmosphere.
Izu was a blast. We laughed and listened and strolled along enjoying every moment. Thanks!!!! |

| ALOT of FUN. Very informative, we learned a lot of new things about our history, even as one of us, was a child of the Sixties.. ISUZ, our tour guide, is extremely passionate about her neighborhood. The tour is full of the neighborhood's/communitie's history, architecture, and the "Summer of Love." Personal accounts of hippies added to the tour's fun factor. Favorite moments include understaning why the clock stays put at 4:20, how the diggers sponsored free meals, and where the Dead, Janus lived and loved. ISUZ is the tour. |

| My 21 year-old son and I took the morning tour on Feb. 20, and we both thought it was fantastic, and the best value of all of the San Francisco tours we did. Isu was an incredible tour guide - very knowledgable, enthusiastic and so funny! It was just the right mix of hippy history and architecture. I particularly enjoyed being able to go inside one of the houses. We took Isu's advice and had lunch afterwards at a local restaurant (Cha Cha Cha) - it was one of the best meals we had in San Francisco. Not only would I recommend this tour highly, if I ever come back to SF, I'll probably go on the tour again!

| Highly recommended. I used to think hippies were just a bunch of slackers who did nothing but smoke up and laze around. The tour gave us a great backgrounder of how the whole movement started and the mindset behind it. Great bits of trivia as well. |

| Our tour guide, Izu, transported us back to the heydays of Haight-Ashbury. Her knowledge of the area from the late 1800s to early 1900s brought that period back to life. Her willingness to share her rich, personal experiences from the 1970s made us long for the positive energy that was driving that period. This will be an experience I will always remember. |
