Haight Ashbury Flower Power Walking Tour

Stan is an excellent tour guide with an insiders view of the local scene, both past and present. He is extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and gives a great "non-touristy" birds eye view of the Haight Ashbury scene in its hey day. Take the tour and make sure to pick up one of his "Haight Ashbury Star Maps"...you won't be disappointed!

We really enjoyed taking the Haight-Ashbury tour last weekend. Stan, our tour guide, was really cool and had so much knowledge about the area, the history and so many fun facts that we would never have known about had we just walked through ourselves. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area. It was even better than expected.

Great tour....it went longer than the time specified, so we definitely got our money's worth! Izu was quite a trip....a great trip! Definitely take this tour when you're in San Francisco!

Not only do you learn about the Haight Ashbury area but also the history of San Fransisco- what drew people to the area and when and how they made a change in the world.

Our tour guide was quirky if not a bit overwhelming. Saw a lot of great landmarks of the Haight and learned a lot about the hippie music scene in the '60s. Great recommendations on places to go around the area after the tour.

I had such a laugh on this tour with the enthusiastic and animated Izu. A great overview of the district's history with amazing additional stories provided by Izu. Good fun, great group of people. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco as it really gives you a great feel for this cool city. Izu, the "huppie", makes the tour!

We had a great afternoon walking round. our leader certainly knew the area and lots of the people who had lived there at its height.

My husband and I went on this tour. He is a little older than I and this era really interested him, by the end of the tour, I would have loved to been a hippy:) This tour is great and the guide is fantastic and funny. It's a lot of walking but you don't even realize how much walking you are doing because everything is so interesting and fun. We highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting San Francisco, it's a must! My husband doesnt' like to travel but has said he would probably go back to San Francisco, so I guess we will be back and yes we will do the tour again:)
