My girlfriend and I almost didn't wake up for the tour, but decided to at the last minute! We are so happy we did! Eizu was wonderful! She was friendly, so knowledgeable and was a wonderful representative for the Haight-Ashbury community. I especially liked that she never lost her cool and was respectful when one of the homeless people gave his own input on the tour!
If you can go with a smaller group during a weekday, I reccommend doing that like us BUT the experience is wonderful either way I'm sure!!!
Thanks Eizu! |

Izu and Benny were excellent hosts and we enjoyed the tour immensely! It was wonderfully fun and informative and was one of the highlights of our visit. We highly recommend this tour and will do it again next time we are in town. The whole thing was an absolute delight!!

This was a great tour with a knowledgeable guide. It is primarily concerned with the architectural gems around the area, scattered with good stories about characters from the 60s and 70s. The tour was advertised as 2.5 hours, but was still going on when I excused myself after 2.75 hours, and at that time looked like it would be going on for at least another half an hour. |

We had an informative guide who was enthusiastic in her work.
It was very interesting to know the history of the buildings and the personalities who lived in them. |

Very informative and the guide was good. It was clear that he enjoyed his job. Too many points of interest were pointed out and therefore, the tour became longer than anticipated. |

We enjoyed the tour of the Haight-Ashbury. We found it to be very informative and fun. The tour guide Izu was very high energy and pleasant. She made the tour exciting. We would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys walks and has an interest in learning about San Francisco's history and San Francsico in the 60's.
Sincerely,

Our tour guide was very interesting, informative and entertaining, as well as patient while several of us on the tour took photos. He seemed happy enough to answer questions, no matter how silly we felt asking them. I felt we saw a pretty decent amount of historical sites in the small section of the city we explored. I would quite definitely recommend this tour to all ages, though it might not be appropriate for young children (but teenagers might quite enjoy it). Also, make sure to allow plenty of time for the tour since ours ran over a bit amounting to about 3 hours. |

We had a small intimate group for our tour. We learned a lot of history of the area, and our guide had photgraphs of "before" pictures of some of the places we were seeing. We took a cab to our meeting spot. The guide was on time and we began our walk. The walk was easy, with no hills to speak of. We had plenty of time for photographs along the way. I would reccomend staying in the area for lunch or shopping afterwards. We walked back to our meeting place and stood in front of the hotel across the street and had no problem getting a cab back to our hotel. This tour was a lot of fun, especially if you have any interest in the Sixties music, clothing and people. |
