Lots of wasted time, very little fresh info

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to this tour, hoping to get fresh and personel stories about the neighborhood and era, but we were both very disappointed. Our tour guide "Izu", it started out alright but as it progressed it was mostly just wasted time. She rambled about completely irrelevant information for about two hours. By the end I was extremely anxious for it to be over.

Enjoyed the tour with my wife during our vacation in San Francisco. Izu the tour guide was very entertaining. The tour started about 15 minutes late and ran late which was the only negative. Overall the tour was informative and fun.

Izu was awesome! She knows the area very well and has plenty of stories about the neighborhood. Huge deadhead (which was awesome) and also fascinating to talk to a real hippie who experienced life in this historical location!

Memorable tour, one of our best days in San Fran

I unfortunately can't recall our tour guides name, but he was a native that has spent the last 30 years in the Haight-Ashbury area. Because of this and because of his outgoing and interesting and interested personality he was able to tell us so much more about the area than we ever could have discovered on our own. He was also great at pointing out special shops, restaurants, and places of interest that we could see after the tour. I would and will highly recommend this tour.

Great walking tour of the Haight Ashbury! It was the best tour we took in San Francisco! Stan was a great guide with awesome local knowledge!

A first time walk through the Haight

This tour gave me the unique first time opportunity to walk through the Haight. I had only driven through parts of it and seen very little of the sights. Izu talked about many interesting things and countless tidbits of information about the artists and where they lived. She explained in detail the "Summer of Love" and the many concerts and performances that were held in the area. Even though I was a bit older than most of the young people in the area at that time, I have developed a stronger appreciation and knowledge of all the things that had occurred then. Thank you for this unusual tour of the Haight.
