| The guide was really cool and divulged an ocean worth of info! There's no doubt that my wife and I couldn't have done the same tour on our own. All the nuances on this section of town were given to us in an informed manner. Plus the guide was so authentic and cool! Well worth it! |

| It was a great tour and Izu was fantastic! It would be tragic if there is no one left with the firsthand experience of the events that occurred during the period. We would recommend having more visuals/props to compare then and now. Short video clips with music of the times at the end would be great. All in all, would not miss it when on a SF visit. Another suggestion: a magic bus for the tour. |

| We had a fabulous time. Izu, Eco and Benny were great tour guides and companions for our day in the Haight. From the moment we met, it was like getting a tour from old friends. Izu answered all our questions, Eco was a great "Knight in Shining Armor" and Benny was the perfect mascot. Your energy balance really made our trip memorable. We got some fantastic photos! Thank you for a great day! |

| I would recommend this tour for people who want to have an idea of what was special about the Haight Ahsbury area in the 60s and the history and renaissance of that neighborhood that remains otherwise quite rundown and would not be very interesting otherwise.
Your guide will ahve for you many anecdotes and knows his botanics (no not only that kind- lol -the neighborhood actually has a huge variety of trees he will eb happy to tell you about), so whether you are a fan of the counter culture movement, architecture, Janis, Jimi or the Grateful Dead or just want a 3+ hour walk (yes you do need to like to walk... A LOT!) you should enjoy this tour. Fun and informative. |

| We were only in San Francisco for a very short weekend and this tour was the bulk of our sightseeing. The tour guide, Isu, was unbelievable! She was extremely knowledgeable, humorous, and very entertaining. I recommend this tour to all, including any SF natives!! |

| Our tour guide was Izu, who has lived in the Haight-Ashbury since 1971 and also visited in 1967 with her parents as a child. The things she told us could only come from 'the real deal" and everyone was very entertained and came away wanting more, even though Izu didn't finish until we had covered every question. I can honestly say that this was my best part of my trip to San Francisco and I feel more educated about the area and more inclined to walk the area on my own. People like Izu are hard to find because they tell you the truth and the little-known facts. We finished the tour by going inside a house which is actually in the famous Grateful Dead photo with them at the street sign for Haight-Ashbury. Give yourself a more than few hours for this tour but you'll come away thinking about it for years - And if you're a huge fan of the bands, actors and music of the area, it will be glued to your heart forever. Thanks, Izu!
