| The guide was really cool and divulged an ocean worth of info! There's no doubt that my wife and I couldn't have done the same tour on our own. All the nuances on this section of town were given to us in an informed manner. Plus the guide was so authentic and cool! Well worth it! | ||||||

| I took my wife and three boys (Two fifteen and a 10 year old) on this tour. Everyone had a great time. The tour was guided by Izu and her dog Benny, and we all enjoyed Izu's insights as to what it was like to be part of the Height in the sixties and through today. She did a great job of mixing old stories, showing where famous people "crashed" and talked about the good and bad of the area over the last 40 years. We highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour for people who want to have an idea of what was special about the Haight Ahsbury area in the 60s and the history and renaissance of that neighborhood that remains otherwise quite rundown and would not be very interesting otherwise. Your guide will ahve for you many anecdotes and knows his botanics (no not only that kind- lol -the neighborhood actually has a huge variety of trees he will eb happy to tell you about), so whether you are a fan of the counter culture movement, architecture, Janis, Jimi or the Grateful Dead or just want a 3+ hour walk (yes you do need to like to walk... A LOT!) you should enjoy this tour. Fun and informative. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the tour of the Haight-Ashbury. We found it to be very informative and fun. The tour guide Izu was very high energy and pleasant. She made the tour exciting. We would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys walks and has an interest in learning about San Francisco's history and San Francsico in the 60's. | There's something here for everyone: the history of Rock and Roll, Victorian architecture, sociology of a neighborhood, psychology/philosophy of the Hippie movement, and how the Sixties came and went. But hey, this is San Francisco, and there's something for everyone no matter where you go. What makes this tour recommendable was our very personable, authentic, and inter-active guide. Our guide, Izu, took us through the Haight and through Time with enthusiasm, humor, an a down to Earth philosophical charm. Members of the tour group varied widely in age, interests, and out-looks, yet Izu had the ability to explain and entertain in a way that made everyone in our group able to understand and relate to what she was telling us. She handled all questions with a dash of wit, wisdom, and tolerance; and seemed to adapt her material to the particular interests and experiences of each of us. Everyone got a hug, a button, and a comment or two meant just for them. I highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| Fortunately, the walking tour went ahead on a sunny February day. I found the tour very pleasurably and informative. My tour guide was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the tour to anybody who was going to San Francisco. | ||||||
