The boat ride was fun. The rangers were very knowledgeable and gave great descriptions of the light house and the sites along the way. Our toddler also enjoyed the wind in her hair and trampling around the boat and island. We are definitely interested in more Harbor boat trips in the future. |

This tour is led by enthusiastic and knowledgable rangers and volunteers. The boat is relatively small, but very comfortable. The advantage of the small boat is obvious: smaller groups and more personal attention. We toured the islands on the South Shore, and made a full-hour stop at Boston Light, on Little Brewster Island. We were invited to explore on our own, or to take specific tours of the various sites. For example, the lighthouse itself, the cistern, the beach areas, etc. Some people brought picnic lunches and set themselves up at a picnic table. Others wandered about. We all had lots of fun. The scenery is fantastic, and the historical and geographical information entertaining and informative. I'd recommend this trip for all ages and levels of interest. |

Boston LIght is an extraordinary part of the greater Boston Harbor environment. This trip brings you to the lighthouse and to the amazing harbor island on which it sits. The narration from the National Park Service ranger and a Friends of the Harbor Islands volunteer adds wonderful information about the light, the island and the harbor. |

This is an excellent way to see Boston Harbor, the harbor islands and the open sea.
The lighthouse is majestic, set on it's rocky, windswept perch, well out from land. The historic nature of the site was introduced beautifully by the National Park Ranger who accompianied our group. The Coast Guard men and women who keep the light were cheerful and informative. Very impressive place to be.
This was altogether a great morning trip. |

The scenery was very beautiful and the staff was very knowledgeable. I wish would could have spent more than 45 minutes at the Boston Light. Also, dissappointed that we were unable to climb the light tower due to restoration efforts. Next summer, the light tower will be accessible according to the staff. |

Though it was extreemly windy and we were unable to disembark at Boston Light, we enjoyed the tour of Boston Harbor and the harbor islands. |
