Everyone involved in the tour and transport were very enthusiastic and friendly. A refreshing change from the usual loud-speaker harbor tours. I recommend this tour as an excellent introduction to Boston Harbor, the rich history of the islands and Boston Light. |

The ranger welcomed us; gave an excellent introduction on the dock; her talk as we headed out to the island wa superb, including lots of historical photos and quotes. Once on the island, there were plenty of people to answer questions and show us around. The island is interesting. The boat is lovely. We felt that it was a perfect trip and would enthusiastically recommend it to others. |

it would have been nice to know that the tours of the lighthouse tower would not happen because of the warrantee on the new lens before purchasing our tour tickets. Not that we would not have gone, but we were more disappointed because we thought we would get that piece until we were ready to get on the boat. |

The ranger and volunteers running the tour were very helpful and informative. The weather was perfect which made the day even more enjoyable. Boston Light was lots of fun. The keeper welcomed the group and gave an informative presentation. We spent approximately an hour walking around and asking questions. The remainder of the trip was a nice excursion around Graves light and back into the harbor. It was a perfect morning. We will probably do it again. |

My wife and I enjoyed riding through Boston Harbor to see the Lighthouse.
The guide, Jessica and her coast guard volunteer Skip provided interesting commentary on the harbor, islands and lighthouse.
We have seen the lighthouse and islands from the local shoreline through the years and it was delightful to take them in from the tour boat. |

I was dismayed when I saw the boat pull up - I thought it would be larger and more comfortable. The group was largely senior citizens, and it was raining, so everyone wanted to be indoors - and all the seniors needed chairs, so it was very crowded. I gave up on trying to see. The tour guide had a very monotonous voice (he was not the least bit engaging), and it was hard to understand him inside. The sound was better outside, but you got wet!! The island itself was lovely, but walking around already cold & damp was no fun. I was glad when it was over. |

The trip was an excellent excursion to the Boston Light. The boat rides was long enough but not too long. (Rain on the way out forced us inside where there were not enough seats for all onboard.) The time at the light was fun even though it was raining. The rangers and volunteers did an excellent job of telling the tale of the Boston Light and of Boston harbor. Great fun, even in the rain. |

the weather helped to make it excellent. visibilty in the harbor was great. there was plenty of room on the boat. the tour guides on the boat and on little brewster island were friendly, knowledgeable and answered questions.
the only complaint was that we couldn't go to the top of the lighthouse. |

This is the second time we did the Boston Light tour and we loved it both times equally well. The cruise out to Little Brewster Island is enjoyable and it's fun going out to the outer harbor. We were disappointed this time that we were unable to climb to the top of Boston Light to view the lens due to warranty repairs to the lens from last year, but it didn't overall detract from the visit. I would highly recommend this tour. It's interesting, different and everyone involved, from the park rangers to the lighthouse keeper to the Coast Guard auxiliary personnel on island, are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. |
