| We were looking for something locally to do. We are from South of Boston, with children 7 & 9 yrs. old. This is an age that they are too old for some things, and old enough to enjoy others. Boston Light appealed to my children, as well as my husband & myself. Being on the water, the views of Boston Harbor, learning about the area we live, a local lighthouse & island that one can walk around & climb the lighthouse steps for a beautiful view. We enjoyed this escursion. There were people with young children, those with no children, from the US & abroad. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. |

| I loved the Boston Lighthouse tour. My husband took me last weekend for my birthday. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in lighthouses. The Ranger, Coast Guard and Volunteer staff were very knowledgable and extremely nice. This is something i have wanted to do for 2 years now but never got around to doing because i am always so busy. I am so glad i finally went. The Boston Lighthouse is beautiful and.I took incredible pictures. The scenery on the boat ride there was also awesome. I never realized how many Islands there were in Boston and i can't wait to visit some of them next summer. As an added bonus the tour also goes by the Graves Lighthouse on the return back. |

| Our trip through the Boston Harbor Islands to visit Boston Light was everything we had hoped for. The picture-perfect weather (clear, blue skies, dry temps in the high 70s, and a gentle breeze) made for a great afternoon at sea. Our tour guides were informative, entertaining, and eager to answer any questions we had. Most of them were volunteers with the Coast Guard Auxilliary. Everything about our trip was well-organized and carefully explained, which was certainly to the benefit of the multitude of senior citizen passengers. Once on the island we were able to visit with guides who were set up at various "stations" to answer questions in-depth about the lighthouse, coastal tidepools, shipwrecks, and other structrues on Little Brewster Island such as the fog horns, keeper's house, and electrical/generator house. Adding to our beautiful boat ride was the opportunity to see aquatic birds, other lighthouses, and jets looming large as they cast shadows over us on their runway approach at Logan. The only unfortunate part was not being able to climb Boston Light, but this was not a surprise to us by any means. Public access has been restricted since the first-order Fresnel lens had to be refurbished in the lantern room earlier this year. A warrenty on this expenisve item prevents tour guides from bringing visitors up to the top of the lighthouse. Perhaps this decision will be reconsidered in the future to enable other lighthouse lovers to enjoy a "view from the top." |

| My mom and aunt came to visit me from China, so I signed us three for this tour. We went out on a clear day and had a lot of fun; we got many nice pictures as well. Even though I have been here in Boston for three years, I still learnt a lot more about Boston Harbor, not only the islands, but also varieties of boats. The narrators are awesome! We would like to highly recommend this tour to others, and I would probably join another tour organized by them later this September. |

| Boston light Tour is well worth it! It only takes a total of 3 hours but is well organized and informative. We were surprised the boat was not sold out.

| I knew that the visit would be spectacular--and it was. It was a beautiful day and perfect for my wife, 2-year-old-son, adult cousin, and his wife.
What shocked me more than anything was the amazing service and kindness of the tour guides. The ratio of guides to guests was approximately 1 to 4, respectively. As a result, the guides answered all our questions, and they were extremely accessible and knowledgeable. Most of all, we really valued how delighted they were to have us be with them on their tour.
Thank you so much for everything. We had a wonderful time and we will be heartily recommending you to everyone we know that comes to Boston to visit. This activity was the highlight of our vacation!!
Our only recommendation would be this: Please either fix the speakers in the back of the boat or warn those sitting back there that they will not hear the narration. We were sitting in the back. Even though we enjoyed the unobstructed view, we didn’t understand a thing that the guide was saying and we were disappointed. |
