| The park staff and volunteers were extremely knowledgable about the Boston Light house and the harbor areas. They were also very friendly. It was a beautiful boat ride to a perfect destination with great historical information. | ||||||

| I AM A LOCAL CITIZEN BUT NEVER SAW THE BOSTON LIGHT HOUSE IN PERSON. I FULL RECCOMEND THAT IF EVERYONE GETS A CHANCE THAT YOU TRY AND SEE IT. THE BOAT RIDE WAS VERY NICE ESPECIALLY ON A HOT SUMMER DAY. THE TOUR GUIDES BOTH FROM THE COAST GUARD AUXILLARY AND FROM THE PARKS DEPT. WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ALL THE DETAILS OF THE HISTORY OF BOSTON HARBOR AND THE ISLANDS. THEY SEEMED TO LOVE THEIR JOBS AND IT SHOWED IN THEIR ENTHUSIASM WHEN THEY SPOKE. IT IS A GREAT TAKE AND AGAIN, ALL SHOULD TRY IT. GETTING THE RESERVATION WAS SO EASY AND THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE TOUR FROM THE PARKS DEPT AT FAN PIER SOUGHT YOU OUT TO SEE IF YOU WERE ON THEIR LIST FOR THAT PARTICULAR TOUR. AGAIN, OVERALL IT WAS A NICE 3 HOUR TOUR. | ||||||

| When we arrived at the dock area to board we were greeted by Don, one of the guides. He was very pleasant and friendly. The guides were all friendly and eager to tell us about the Islands around us as we rode out to the lighthouse. They answered all our questions and were friendly to all the guests. I would recommend it to my friends. The only thing I wouldn't do again is order a box lunch. That was very disappointing. We ordered iced tea, got water. There was no cookie either. We paid $12 for a sandwich, bag of chips and a water. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the ranger and all the volunteers. The tour was informative, organized, comfortable, and fun. We live very near Boston light and had always wanted to go look at it more closely. Thanks for a great day! | ||||||

| A very nice trip. Highly recomended for anyone who is interested in Boston history. The actual visit was painfully short (under an hour)- and does not include going up the lighthouse (hopefully in a few years). Otherwise quite wonderful, with lots of eager guids that will be happy to tell you anything and everything about what it is like living on an island. | ||||||

| It was great. Park Ranger "Jessica Renahen" was the best. Very well informed of the Boston Harbour and area. Lighthouse crew exceptional. Needed more time at lighthouse. Departure area needs to be better marked for customers. We did have a problem finding boat. | ||||||

| OUr group included a 23 year old, and 82 year old and a 60 year old. We had so much fun....loved being on the boat, our Ranger was great fun and very informed and informative. It was great learning more about the islands and their accessibility to us all. Keep up the great work of stewardship!! | ||||||

| We had a fantastic time. From 56 years old down to 14 years old, all of us had a great time. The only thing that would have made it better is if we could have climbed up the lighthouse. Because of the repairs to the mirrors, I don't believe that will be open until 2008. Other than that, it really was a wonderful time. | ||||||

| This is a great way to see the harbor in Boston, and is very enlightening from a historical perspective. The guides are all so friendly and helpful. They enjoy sharing the stories about this important landmark! This was the first lighthouse built in America,so it felt very special just being there. It is just a fun experience to take the ferry ride out to the light. There are box lunches available for purchase at the dock, or you can bring your own food. The tour is about 3 hours including the boat ride to and from the lighthouse. We are mariners, so this was especially meaningful to us. We loved it! Boston is a great place to visit!! | ||||||

| The lighthouse was wonderful and we'll be back when we can go up the light. But even though lunches are sold there is not really any time to actually eat it on the island after you've looked around. So your faced with a choice of eating or touring. It would be nice to have more time on the island or stop at another island for lunch. It just felt too rushed for both. Also there is only one picnic table on the island so there is not much room for actually eating. If your with small children watch out for the sun. Bring hats with chin straps. There is very little shade during the boat ride or on the island. We wished they would stop at one of the other harbour islands so that we could make a day of it and take a different boat back. | ||||||

| It was so diappointing that the tour boat had mechanical problems and therefore did not allow us to visit Graves Lighthouse. | ||||||

| Our whole trip to Boston was based upon our lighthouse tour. Our flight was even booked based upon our tour time. Much to our chagrin, we received an email after we arrived in Boston telling us that our tour had been cancelled. Even though they tried to reschedule us, because of our flight times, we could not change our tour time. This was extremely disappointing. We tried to get them to allow us to go on the Thurs. tour, but were not successful. Needless to say, our trip ended on a very sour note. | ||||||
