| Highly recommended. The island and the staff on the island, the rangers, and the boat crew were all very friendly and informative. Seeing such a piece of history of architecture, technology, and the area is amazingly interesting and beautiful. | ||||||

| I would have liked to have seen less time spent at the Boston Light and that time used to tour the harbor, e.g. see some of the other lighthouses (like the Graves Light) up close (or at least closer). Still a good tour, and I'm glad I did it. | ||||||

| This was a pretty good 3-hr excursion. I recommend getting the free tower pass also, because there's not much to do on the island but climb the lighthouse tower. If you want more activities to do, take one of the other island tours. | ||||||

| Climbing to the top of the light was fantastic. Well worth the many steps and two ladders. A real close up look at the functioning lighthouse. A bit hot, but we would do it again! Overall our group really enjoyed the trip out to the light. | ||||||

| I have always liked lighthouses and always wanted to visit one. This was the perfect opportunity to do so and to know that it is the only lighthouse in the U.S. still kept by a lighthouse keeper made it more poignant. The park rangers were very informative and friendly and the whole tour was on schedule. My children and I got to climb to the top and it was just amazing. The lens inside is huge! My original tour date had been cancelled because a storm came in so I had to wait 2 days until I could go out to Brewster's Island, and I was to travel later that afternoon back home, but everything went on schedule as planned, and I managed to get back in plenty of time to travel home. I'm glad it was the last thing I did in Boston as it was the icing on my cake. Loved it! Would recommend it 100%. Thank you. P.S. - The boat that took us out there was smaller than I expected, but the captain and his mate did a good job getting us to and from safely. It was "sometimes' bumpy but fun. | ||||||

| I'm a lighthouse buff and was really looking forward to this trip, and it didn't disappoint. The boat goes past some very nice scenery on the way there, and Brewster Island itself is extremely pretty. And the lighthouse is gorgeous--I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're visiting Boston! | ||||||

| Unfortunately, our tour was cancelled at the last minute due to high winds. This was done for safety reasons and was well addressed by the US Parks personnel. The staff was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and informative during the period prior to our proposed departure. They were genuinely apologetic for the circumstances and handled the situation very well. I will be booking this tour again when I return to the Boston area. | ||||||

| We drove 13 hours to see the Boston Lighthouse...it was everything we wanted and expected it to be, and more. The caretakers(volunteers and coastguard), were exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the area, and are some of the most wonderful people you will meet. | ||||||

| Overall, we enjoyed the excursion but it could have been much better if the sound system on the VERY LOUD boat was working (or exixted?). The ranger had a mic but we in the back outside couldn't hear a word he said. Also, the first group that climbed the lighthouse was allowed so much times that the rest of us barely got to the top before we were told (rather unpleasantly) to come down--we had two minutes up at the light at most--hardly time to look around. | ||||||
