| All the people were wonderful, friendly and informative, from theboat driver to the lighthouse keeper. The only drawback was that i wish i had known earlier that i could take a picnic lunch (i received the e-mail when already on vacation). thank you | ||||||

| This was the first lighthouse my family has seen. It was very appropriate thtat I chose the lighthouse on Little Brewster Island since it is the oldest site for a lighthouse in the USA. Even though it isn't the oldest lighthouse in the United States it is truely an amazing structure to go see. The craftsmanship astounded us because it is so solid standing there almost as if it was built ten years ago. It is very beautiful and magestic sitting on it's 1 1/2 acre island. Our luck would have that it was foggy the day we went, so we got to see it actually doing it's work-lights and the fog horn blowing. The lighthouse keeper was very true to period when it was built. She even dresses like it is still 1880. The park rangers, lighthouse keeper and voluteers are very knowlegable and answered our questions without effort. The trip to the top was breathtaking. If you can walk up 76 spiraled steps it is definately worth it for the view of the harbor and other near by islands. | ||||||

| This is over-priced for what you get. One hour on the island was not anywhere near enough time to visit each of the volunteer stations and walk up the light house steps to visit the lense. The people, however, were quite nice and informative. | ||||||

| The tour was wonderful, the island and lighthouse were beautiful, the volunteers were knowledgeable, helpful, interested and interesting. My only question is whether it might be possible to allow parents/guardians to bring children under 8 years of age up the light house if they sign a liability waiver beforehand. | ||||||

| Overall a fun family outing and a great chance to see Boston Harbor. I wish there would have been some warning to PACK YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK. 3 hours was a really long time for my kids to go without food and drink and there is none available which is not specified in any of the information I read. We were all fascinated with the lighthouse and it was fun to climb up. | ||||||

| Many folks on our trip got lost trying ot find the departure point for the tour. In the large parking lot on fan pier there is a one storey building clearly marked "Fan Pier" People (including myself) thought that was the departure point for the boat. Good thing we had a ranger phone number otherwise many of us would have missed the 10.00am departure time !! | ||||||

| We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Boston Harbor Light. The Park Rangers and Coast Guard Auxiliary people were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this trip to anyone! | ||||||

| The oldest lighthouse in the country is a signficant historic site, especially given the significance of Boston in American History, and the trip through the harbor was very interesting and informative. I recommend it to any Boston visitor interested in the city's nautical past and willing to take the extra time and planning necessary for the trip. The staff and volunteers involved did an excellent job. | ||||||

| Day was cloudy and water was choppy. It was difficult to hear the narrator on the boat. The group was small (34) and it was the last tour of the season. Would have loved to have purchased some postcards or a t-shirt but there was not a place to do that. The staff on the island was very helpful and courteous. The lighthouse could not be ascended due to some work that had been completed recently--that was a disappointment. Too bad they could not do the work after the tourist season. But I had wanted to get to the lighthouse for 3 years and got some wonderful memories and pictures. | ||||||

| Our group, two locals and two Canadians had a wonderful day. Everyone was very enthusiastic about both the appearance of the harbor and the tour. Canadians were expecting the area to be 'dirty' and were pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. Locals had planned to do the tour for years but needed an 'excuse'. Foreign visitors provided the reason to experience this local treasure. | ||||||

| I loved the Boston Lighthouse tour. My husband took me last weekend for my birthday. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in lighthouses. The Ranger, Coast Guard and Volunteer staff were very knowledgable and extremely nice. This is something i have wanted to do for 2 years now but never got around to doing because i am always so busy. I am so glad i finally went. The Boston Lighthouse is beautiful and.I took incredible pictures. The scenery on the boat ride there was also awesome. I never realized how many Islands there were in Boston and i can't wait to visit some of them next summer. As an added bonus the tour also goes by the Graves Lighthouse on the return back. | ||||||
