Sunset Blues and BBQ Cruise

We took friends visiting from Virginia in October. The weather was perfect, sunset beautiful, food good and plentiful and the Blues Band was a great time. Couldn't ask for more!

Thought the food could have been better -- maybe a few other selections. Would have like a little more commentary on the historic nature of what we were seeing. Also, for this cruise and all of the Charleston area in general -- hate the cigarette smoking. Would have like to have been closer to the band but couldn't because of all the smoke. Can't wait to revisit the area some time when/if a smoking ban is enacted.

Friends and I enjoyed to tour. The foood was great and the music was wonderful. My only conerned was there was limited space on the top deck for you to enjoy the view. The band took up too much space. mOtherwise, we had a great time.

The scenery was fantastic and we certainly got a great (long) ride. On the plus side: The music was great and the food was very tasty. On the down side: The drink (bar) prices are totally outrageous. You should shut the bar down after one hour; some people can't control their liquor There is no room on deck to sit.

We went on board not knowing what to expect. Well, the Blues, Bar-B-Que and bar was great! Nice sunset and full moon!!! Couldn't have asked for a better evening. We were in Charleston for three nights. It was the best night there!

My daugfhter and I had a very enjoyable evening...good music, food and a full moon!!

Although there was a tremendous summer storm just before boarding,once it passed we were able to take the trip. Home Team BBQ is always EXCELLENT. The Shrimp City band also always fun. I would have liked to have their music piped to the upper, outside decks so it could be enjoyed there. The ship's route was good; I would have liked it to motor a bit closer to Ft. Sumter and the Yorktown. Zerve offers a quick and efficient system for booking and printing tickets.

Even w/the storm that brewed while on the water the first 1/2 of the ride was great, would recommend to everyone. Always nice to be in the harbor, seeing the tourist sites and enjoying some blues.

We have taken the cruise twice. The first we enjoyed very much. The musicians were downstairs and we found this to be better than the second trip when the musicians were downstairs. The caterers are excellent. Very friendly and personable, they make every effort to meet needs.

Excellent trip; the food is top notch and the band are equally proficient - sadly, the weather closed in and we had to return a few minutes early. Understandably, the band had to move their instruments inside ... ... we'd go again!
