Sunset Blues and BBQ Cruise

A very pleasant evening - good food, good music, pelicans, dolphins and a lovely sunset.

The cruise was a lot of fun. We were sitting at a table with three couples and none of us knew each other but it didn't take long to get acquainted. We were celebrating our 48th anniversary, one couple was celebrating their 24th, and another their 5th. We were all from different areas and enjoyed talking and getting to know each other. The view going under the Ravenal Bridge was spectacular. The staff and all the guest were very friendly. The band put on a good show entertaining us with Blues and it was hard to sit still without keeping time to the music or dancing.

The food was fabulous, the blues were smokin, and the boat ride was pleasant. The only downside was the weather that forced us to go up the Cooper and not the Ashley so we missed seeing the Battery and the Marina. Probably a good choice though since the open water would have been pretty rough. We'll do it again next year!

We enjoyed the food--excellent BBQ with all the fixings--and large quantities were available. With the rainy night the top deck was very noisy and the lower deck was crowded, too. However the music was fine and just loud enough to be fully heard. Actual sightseeing of the harbor was limited because of the rain. Fun Time!

Good food and very good music. We had a good time and enjoyed the float around the harbour.

The Bar-B-Que from Home Team was excellent. Seating was a little bit of a problem but that's because there were so many people on the boat. The Captain was couteous and friendly and informative. We had a wonderful time.

The meal was great and so was the service!! The cruise around the harbor and the Blues music was wonderful - a great way to relax and celebrate a wonderful evening in Charleston with my parents, son & fiance', and her mother!!

The trip was very nice and enjoyed the amazing scenery with many photo opportunities. Band and BBQ was great (I had to get seconds on the BBQ) and everyone in my group had a great time. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to pass by Ft. Sumter but I guess that would've been a bit out of the way. Bring a jacket just in case and have fun!!!

We had fun dancing with the band and the BBQ (and Mac N Cheese) was delicious. Had pretty good weather and loved seeing Charleston at night. Great time and good value.
