Sunset Blues and BBQ Cruise

A group of us went for my bday. We had a great time. The food was amazing...so amazing that me and my bf went to Home Team this past Sunday on Sullivans Island. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The band sounded great. It was neat to hear the music echo when going under the Ravenal bridge. The weather was perfect. We also saw dolphins swimming along side the boat so have your camera ready.

Great food and hospitality from Home Team BBQ. The band was great as well. I wish it was a longer cruise. Home Team is AWESOME!!!!!!

Overall this was a good experience and we most certainly will do it in the future. A few minor gripes: Hometeam BBQ ran out of a few items (Chicken, Coleslaw) within minutes of our departure. We did overhear the server callling his boss of the situation and it sounded as if he was genuinely concerned about fixing it in the future. The music was occasionally too loud at times which made it difficult to sit near the band. Otherwise, a positive experience.

I was a little hesitant when my friend suggested this cruise but it could not have been more fun. The boat was uncrowded, the music was excellent. I'd read reviews about the food being lousy. No, there was no dessert but the barbecue was great, the macaroni out of this world. The crew was friendly and so was the crowd. We went out in light, saw a gorgeous sunset and returned in the dark, all to awesome musical accompaniment. I'd definitely go, again.

Fantasic. loved the music and the food. Would wholeheartedly suggest this to anyone and I will. I have some friends traveling to SC this summer and I will tell them to do this. I wish the band that we heard on May 12th had a CD...I would have bought it. Loved the harmonica guy. It was even better because it wasn't crowded. Weather was perfect. Even saw some dolphins. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!

The band was the best thing about this activity. The BBQ was overcooked. Seating was inadequate and crowded. There was no dessert either. When we first arrived the heaters were cranked up so high, we were melting. Halfway through dinner they were adjusted. Atmosphere in the dining room was stark and people were standing in line to get food by the tables were people were eating. Definitely not worth the $39.50. And tell me why the band took a break when the cruise was only 2 hours.

This was an evening cruise on a cold December night. The food was excellent and plentiful. Even though it was cold on the top deck of the boat, the band was enjoyable and played a variety of music. We enjoyed watching the lighted boat parade in the harbor.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday with family and friends visiting from the West Coast. The music was amazing and the food was great. We were able to sit right next to the musicians and could see the breathtaking view in the moonlight behind them. We couldn't have been happier.

The cruise, food, and music were great. Wish they hadn't run out of chicken. Wish there were more seats to be able to see the band. Overall, had a great time!
