Sunset Blues and BBQ Cruise

The scenery was fantastic and we certainly got a great (long) ride. On the plus side: The music was great and the food was very tasty. On the down side: The drink (bar) prices are totally outrageous. You should shut the bar down after one hour; some people can't control their liquor There is no room on deck to sit.

It would have been nice to have someone on the boat to point out points of interest. Loved the bar b q

The cruise was very nice. Not a lot of seating though. You have to get a seat upstairs and stay there or you will lose your seat. Sometimes it was a little hard to hear the band playing since they were at the back of the boat.

The cruise was great! The barbeque buffet was excellent. The entertainment provided by Shrimp City Slim was awesome. You couldn't help but "groove" along with him. If you like blues and barbeque, this is the place for you. It was a fabulous two hours!!

Meal not as advertised. Was supposed to be from a well known BBQ restaurant but was not. Would only rate it fair at best. Most of tour was aimlessly putt putting around harbor. Boat does not have enough deck space for all customers to have an unobstructed view of fire works standing never mind having a chair to sit. Those who stayed below decks could not really see the fireworks because they would not dim the interior lights which reflected off the glass windows obstructing the view

My wife & I are locals and have been talking about going on the Sunset Blues & BBQ cruise since we heard it advertised 4 years ago. We finally went last week and weren't disappointed. Parking is fairly easy to find and plentiful at the Charleston Maritime Center and not too bad of a walk to the boat dock. The BBQ buffet by Firery Ron's Home Team BBQ was outstanding and plentiful. Adult beverages are available for purchase with domestic beers going for $4, imports for $5 and liquor for $6. At first, I was a little disappointed that Shrimp City Slim didn't provide the music as advertised, but Juke Joint Johnny & the Defibulators quickly made me forget about it. The band really brought it. So much so, the 2-hour boat cruise ended too quickly. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go on the Sunset Blues & BBQ cruise again.

The Blues and BBQ cruise in Charleston harbor was a great way to cap a day. It was cool on the water. The Music by Shrimp City Slim (Gary Irwin) was good blues. The meal was very good Carolina BBQ, We saw many sites and enjoyed meeting various people. Great value.

This was a fun way to spend an evening! The entertainment, beer and scenery was great.

My husband and I arrived in Charleston to celebrate our anniversary. The Sunset Blues and BBQ cruise was relaxing and refreshing. The peaceful waters were divine. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with bbq, chicken, cole slaw and macroni. The sweet tea was the best imaginable. I would recommend adding a dessert. The band was engaging and a delight to witness. I would highly recommend and plan to return.

The cruise, food, and music were great. Wish they hadn't run out of chicken. Wish there were more seats to be able to see the band. Overall, had a great time!
