The Harbor tour was great. Very educational, nice weather and the boat was comfortable. The crew onboard was very pleasant and helpful. A great tour of the harbor and everything which surrounds it. A lot of history.
The Boone Hall Plantation was very nice also. I have been on many plantation tours but none provided as much information about the lives of the slaves as did the Boone Hall Plantation. They provided much information stuggles of the African slaves during and after slavery. The Plantation grounds tour was very good showing all the different vegetables still grown on the plantation. I was not impressed by the main house since it was not the original and was built less than 100 years ago but if you like antique furniture, then you may enjoy it a little more. Plan to spend several hours here. There is a lot to see. All in all, this combo tour was well worth the price. |

It was a very windy, misty morning but still enjoyed the tour. A great over all history lesson of the Charleston harbor. |

The Boone Hall Plantation visit was very interesting and provided a lot of history about plantation life. The Harbor tour touched on the key historical points in and around the Charleston harbor. My husband and I both really enjoyed both parts of our combo. There was a school group also on our boat tour, but they were well behaved and kept to the aft part of the boat for most of the harbor tour. Great value for the money. |

After a busy weekend visiting many places, this was an excellent overview of the city, relaxing and friendly staff and a different view of this American city. |

Captain Henry was friendly and very informative; he supplied little anecdotes to help you remember the facts. The crew was friendly, smiling and accommodating. The boat ride was smooth and that was important to me as I tend to get seasick rather easily - no problem. We met people from all over and had a wonderful experience overall. Would take this trip again tomorrow! |

We enjoyed the tour combination and felt it was reasonably priced. The tour guides were well informed but not lecturing. Humor was used often. We were pleased to see safety enforced on the tour boat. Children that were climbing railings and adults not heeding safety rules, were gently and swiftly reminded and reinstructed. Well trained staff. Speakers could have been just a little louder to reach over those talking. |
