My wife and I took the Harbor Tour and Plantation Tour last weekend. We had an incredible day and found everyone to be very friendly.
I would highly recommend this combo package to anyone looking to see sights of Charleston that are sometimes missed.
Thanks for the great job! |

i loved it soooo much!! the boat ride was paradise - so relaxing, gorgeous scenery and so interesting and informative! the guide was tops - i learned so much! The history and the sights/ landmarks (such as fort sumpter, lighthouses , rainbow row, Cooper River Bridge etc) were incredibly amazing and I loved how our guide told us so many interesting stories about Charleston and it's past, present and future.
I enjoyed the whole combo including The Boone Plantation which was like walking into another world/ era that really impacted me. I really enjoyed it - but it was really depressing/upsetting to learn about slave life.
I must say we loved the guy who guided us on the trolly through the lands- I wish i remembered his name but he was a gem we enjoyed him a lot!
Two things of suggestion-
Wear SUNSCREEN on the boat! and
We had to really work to hear our Boone Plantation guide on the trolly ride. I think an intercom/speaker to hear the guide is a must! I was really surprised there aren't speakers to hear the guide.
All in all Everything was fabulous! We will always remember it !
I really appreciate how affordable the combo tour is ! Excellent deal! |

Captain Henry was friendly and very informative; he supplied little anecdotes to help you remember the facts. The crew was friendly, smiling and accommodating. The boat ride was smooth and that was important to me as I tend to get seasick rather easily - no problem. We met people from all over and had a wonderful experience overall. Would take this trip again tomorrow! |

I had a great time in Charleston. There is a lot to see within Charleston and I recommend people to take a tour to cover some of the major areas. |

The narrators for both the harbor tour and plantation were great! They told about the history and current day activities of both. We very much enjoyed these tours and would take them again. I could have spent all day at the plantation, it was very interesting learning about life durring this time. We all would highly recomend these tours to everyone. |

The Gullah presentation at Boone Farm was exceptional. It was worth the purchase of the combo pack. The Harbor Cruise was educational and entertaining; our captain was a hoot. |

The boat tour was great.... provided some commedy during the tour. I recommend travellers take this tour early in their stay in SC as they provide a great deal of history plus suggest places to see including the free sites, etc. If I did it again I would take notes. We did get to see dalphins first from a distance... then looking over the side of the boat they were right up close in the wake the boat was making.
During the house tour at the plantation, my sister got ill.... we had to take her outside and cut our tour short. We think it was the strong smell from the flowers in the house and other tourists perfumes. We did drive around the plantation and took some pictures (weren't sure if we were allowed to do this, but it allowed her to see this as she really was interested in the plantation).
I would recommend this tour...
Thanks for making it affordable. |

We planned a busy 3 day weekend in Charleston. While we enjoyed everything, we were a little disappointed with the Plantation. Since I had never visited a plantation before, I guess my expectations were a little too high. The tour guide on the truck that took us around the grounds was great, as was the former slave houses (made of brick) and the boat house. House tour was a little underwelming.
Harbor tour was good, and it was nice to be out on the water. While by itself it would have been a good choice, since we also did the Fort Sumter tour (provided by a different vendor), I don't think I learned much more on this tour as I did on the other. I was expecting to spend a little more time going around the harbor. It was just a big circle around Fort Sumter and back to the dock. |
