We started with the plantation tour. My only disappointment is that the house is "new." We enjoyed the ambience, the gardens, and especially the Gullah presentation. The house tour was lacking in that the house is not period and only a small part is open. The tourguide was very informative. We didn't have time for the coach tour but we will catch it on the next visit.
The harbor tour was well done, relaxing and very informative. The crew was very attentive to the needs and requests of the passengers. Overall, a very good way to 'meet' the city. We will do it again. I think the combination tour was a good value and I highly recommend it to anyone. |

Great combo package! Enjoyed both tours and getting to see the beautiful sights of Charleston. I would highly recommend this package. Please make sure and mention that trip to Boone Hall plantation requires car or taxi service and also to bring bug spray to fend off the mosquitoes. |

We only had a day to spend in Charleston so we decided that a combo tour was the way to go. We had hoped to do the triple combo tour which included a harbour tour, city carriage tour, and a plantation tour but we didn't have time to do all three. If we had more time we definitely would have selected that combo as there is no restriction on when you take two of the three tours. I believe the harbour tour was the only one that required a booked time. We still did the combo harbour/plantation tour and it was a great introduction to the city of Charleston. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we are now planning a longer vacation there next year and you can bet we'll be doing more tours! |

We had a few days left before we continued on our trip with so much to take in the combo tickets worked for us. We were able to squeeze in the sites we wanted at a reasonable price and the timing worked out so that we went from one activity to the next without time wasted. Recommend highly |

The harbor tour was very informative and relaxing, it offers a very good overview if the harbor and it's history. The plantation tour was also very good with a lot of good history tidbits. I think it would be nice if the plantation tour voucher could be printed off online since that would save driving to the Maritime center. A map should also be available online since the plantation is several miles away. |

We learned the history of plantation life, including life of the Gullah people (one of my favorite parts of the plantation tour) and toured the house. Most of the tour was outside, so the weather is a factor to keep in mind when taking this tour. We were quite hot from the outside tour but were able to cool off as we toured inside the house. :) The grounds were beautiful, including the gardens, the oak-lined drive and several spots for great pictures to put in the memory book! The only real negative thing I can say about this tour was that the wireless microphone the Gullah woman used kept going out, which made it difficult to hear what she was saying.
The Harbour tour was also informational and fun. You can learn many interesting facts about the Charleston Harbour and the role it played in our history. This was the favorite part of the day for our boys (12 & 15). The captain made this trip fun for the kids by having trivia questions for them to try to answer.
All in all, this was a good day trip to Charleston! |

My husband and I did the Boone Hall Plantation first which we wanted to go for a long time. It was beautiful. A lot of history and beautiful things to look at. Loved the tree's and the plantation home. Went on down to take the Harbor tour and wasn't disappointed in the least. Everyone there was very nice and the boat ride was awesome. Loved all the scenery. Couldn't have ask for anything more. Thank you. |

We purchased a combination tour and enjoyed the harbor cruise on one afternoon and the Boone Hall Plantation tour the following morning. Both of these tours were the highlight of our visit to Charleston. |
