Combo: Charleston Harbor Tour & Carriage Ride

If you do the 3:30 Harbor tour you dont have time for the carriage tour after! No one told us that so we lost out on the one hour carriage tour and had to settle for a half hours. Otherwise nice afternoon in Charleston!

I recommend the a tour by land and boat to any first time visitor to Charleston.

We boarded on time and the boat tour was very enjoyable. Nice amount of history. Charming city.

The whole experience was great, from the ease of moving about the boat, the friendliness of the crew, and all the sights during the tour!

My mother (who is handicapped) and I went on the combo tour. It was fantastic. It was fun, relaxing and informative. Everyone was uber friendly and helpful. It is difficult for my mother getting around in a wheelchair and the staff of both places made it extremely easy for not only her but me. The staff at the Palmetto Carriage was our favorite.

Great value when you include the free parking. Was dissatisfied in the fact that the website said the carriage tour would take us into certain sections of the city when in fact the city of Charleston controls the route a specific carriage takes. So we did not get to see the street we thought we would see. Harbor cruise was interesting.

We couldn't believe how much we learned about America's early history and the importance of Charleston's role in it - from the firing on Fort Sumter starting the Civil War to the first pub in America. We were also amazed at the huge homes and huge home prices in the tens of millions.

The boat ride was professionally done and very enjoyable The carriage ride was terrible Confusion on the tickets, had to wait to board in HOT STINKY barn. We had to wait in the hot sun out on the road for 30 minutes for permission to leave because too many carriages out at one time. So the service is over booking We are both professional business people and this was un excusable. We will never use the carriage rides of this particular one again and absolutely will not recommend to anyone . This is the difference about priority of making money versus concern of your customers . I should have asked for a refund but was so upset just went on our way

The Charleston Harbor Tour and the Carriage Ride were both a lot of fun, and a lot of historical facts were presented during both tours...the tour guides presented all the information in a very interesting manner, and we just simply had a great time.....I would highly recommend both of these activities to anyone visiting the Charleston area...

We considered another tour and called them with questions, got the answering machine, left our number and they called back 8 HOURS later!! In the meantime we booked with Zerve and mistakenly sent the email address for the etickets with one digit wrong. They promply called to let us know they couldn't send the tickets because it bounced back. Gave them the correct email and received the tickets. When we arrived everyone was so helpful. Took the harbor cruise one day and the carriage ride the next day. They were both awesome!! Both trips were relaxing and informative. We wanted to go back and take both trips again and we probably will someday. We all highly recommend these tours!
