| We picked up both the carriage and boat tickets at the office upon arrival in Charleston. Everything was easy and clear to understand. The tour guide on the carriage ride was very informative. Enjoyed both the carriage ride and boat ride. I would recommend both to anyone traveling to Charleston and interested in the history of the area. We take carriage rides each time we go to Charleston, but since there are different areas of the city and different guides, they are never the same. |

| We enjoyed the tours very much except for the commentator on the harbor tour. His voice was very annoying. It would have been nice for our group had he had the good old Southern accent.
The young girl that did our carraige tour was excellent and was tipped accordingly. |

| The harbour tour was relaxing and informative. The tour guide provided a little history, geography, and current information about the area. Great for first time visitors.
The carriage ride through historic Charleston was really great. We had a knowledgeable and friendly guide . We spent one hour seeing and hearing about the beautiful historic homes, churches, and markets. Suggest going early in the morning - we were two of only four people on the carriage which made it nice. |

| The harbor cruise was very relaxing and the friendly staff was ready to provide any information on the historic sites. The Olde Town Carriage Company, however, has very limited operating hours (would you believe they stop at 4pm!) so I could not take the carriage tour with them. However, when the Palmetto carriage tour company heard that I was leaving town the next day and could not take the carriage tour, they accomodated me on their mule-drawn carriage tour from the Red Barn, which was excellent! |

| We are glad that we took the combination tour. The boat ride was relaxing & it was a beautiful day. But......................the tour captain really needs to lighten up his talk. He was informative but very dry & I found myself not listening because he didn't make it interesting. I was disappointed that we were pretty far from the shore, so taking photos wasn't always doable.
The carriage ride on the other hand was really great. The tour guide kept it light & interesting & answered any questions. |

| My husband and I enjoyed the cruise with the information provided, however we found the carriage ride more exciting with wonderful charleston history and seeing the beautiful homes and architecture up close with personal stories. The carriage ride is recommended enthusiastically. |

| Unfortunately, it was cold & windy the day we took our trip. But on the Harbor Tour, we met some friendly people & met the Captain, he was excellent. The tour was fun.
The carriage ride: We had a great guide, a young fellow born right there in Charleston, he was nice & funny, wish everyone could have him as their guide. But, again, it was very cold & we were not dressed for it. But the guide made it very interesting. Thanks for that.
We actually liked Charleston more than New Orleans. |

| We had a great experience on both tours. I think we enjoyed the carriage ride more. The guide on the harbor tour was ridiculous though! He needs to stop over pronouncing things. He was trying to sound like an announcer!
The carriage guide was great!!! |

| We did the carriage ride first in the morning after getting our vouchers at the Harbor Tour office. The sign for the carriage tour office only faces forward from the front of the store and is next to another ride vendor. We stood in the wrong line and almost missed our carriage! It was a cool morning but they provided blankets to keep us warm. Each carriage is assigned a route at the time they depart, so you don't know where you will go ahead of time. I don't know if they can accommodate personal preferences.
The harbor tour was lovely. We did that after lunch. It was quite windy and cool (53 degrees) so we enjoyed seeing the sights from the heated cabin below rather than up on deck. Parking was free and there were snacks and beverages available for purchase on the boat. It was a great way to see the highlights of Charleston and the tour narration was quite interesting. |

| It was a brisk day, but the carraige tour was delightful! Lots of interesting local lore, and tons of history! The cruise was also very informative---a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Both were very low key. |
